Crystal Nest has a great deal to offer and is equipped with all of the expected modern home comforts. Accommodation features comprise a spacious lounge area, two double bedrooms with built in wardrobes, a kitchen, bathroom with shower cubicle, basin, toilet and vanity unit. Entertainment facilities include Satellite TV, CD and DVD player. The apartment is spacious with excellent views from living room and bedrooms .
The lounge area is furnished to a very high standard and includes a cream leather sofa and arm chair, coffee table, and large oak dining table complete with six chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a stand alone oven, microwave oven, tall fridge-freezer and washing machine. A hall way leads from the lounge area to the bedrooms & bathroom. All bedrooms have sea views with a patio door leading on to balcony. The sunny roof terrace is private and includes a built in barbecue area with mosaic table and chairs for your comfort, as well as boasting panoramic views across to the sea. Additionally, there are two balconies, with the front balcony overlooking the swimming pool and furnished with a cafe style iron table and chairs. The rear balcony with cafe style iron table also offers panoramic views across to the sea. The pool is spacious and is only approx 20 yards from the apartment. Crystal nest is a quiet location and situated within walking distance of beach ,restaurants tavernas and Paralimni town.

The Famagusta District
Protaris is very close: approximately 5 minutes drive time will take you to this district where there are lots of activities for families, including restaurants, bars, shops, and the famous 'Fig Tree Bay'. The bars feature all round entertainment for all age groups. The Lunar Park offers crazy golf, while the water park is also worth seeing. A selection of water sports are available for the more adventurous types.Paralimni is quiet and tranquil with authentic charm and fabulous taditional and modern restaurants.
Paralimni area
Paralimni has wonderful quiet beaches, with Firemans Cove and Ayia Triada beach situated along the Kapparis coast line. Paralimni has fantastic shops including designer style fashion boutiques: it boasts a huge collection of shoe and jewellery shops, together with both traditional and modern restaurants and bars.
The town itself has beautiful churches and surroundings. You will also find modern local supermarkets of a very high standard catering for all your needs. Car and bike hire are available at very reasonable rates.
How to get there
The main airport servicing this region of Cyprus is Larnaca International Airport, which is approximately 40 minutes by car to/from the apartment. Taxis are available at the airport, as is car hire, or a lift can be pre-arranged to take you to/from the apartment. Prices for the pre-arranged lift service are in the region of between 25 and 30 Cyprus Pounds each way. For comparison, taxi fares for the same trip are approximately 30 Cyprus Pounds each way.
Flights to Paphos International Airport can also be used with a slightly longer transfer time of approximately two hours being typical. A pre-arranged lift service can also be arranged if required, with prices available on request.

Further details outdoors: The apartment is situated within an 'up and coming' area serviced with a range of excellent bars and restaurants, offering both international and local cuisine. A brief ten minute walk from the apartment leads to a modern local supermarket, offering a wide choice of foods and drinks.
The complex is well serviced by local transport, with bus stops for each direction located a short distance outside on the main road. Scheduled services are every 20 minutes into Protaras & Ayia Napa in one direction, with Paralimni Town in the opposite direction. A wide selection of shops can be found in Paralimni, including excellent clothes, shoe and jewellery shops: a Marks and Spencers store, traditional restaurants and church are also to be found.
The local beach is sandy and quiet and only a fifteen minute walk away: it also features a serious of coves.

Pool is lovely & we both enjoyed chatting to the ex-pats living here. The Restaurant Alkonia at the end of the road does a lovely chicken salad which we went back most days, we had a fab time and im sure Jillian told you about our problems getting out to Larnaca, she was a complete star and took us shopping when the bags didnt arrive. Joan and Jim were lovely and came to see us off and we both fell in love with Scooby their dog. The whole ex-pat thing was great and we really enjoyed the afternoon club around the pool chatting to them all. We found that the position of the apartment was ideal being midway between the beaches, towns & Forces camp (where our family live). We hope to be coming back in the future.We had a really wonderful time in Cyprus.
The apartment was really first rate and provided every thing we could wish for. The view was stunning!
As I said in the comment book, the position was really good for us, as it was only 20 minutes drive from the 'forces base' where my son, daughter in law & grand children live' (my son is in the RAF and lucky to be stationed in Cyprus for four years - he is currently half way through his posting). The last three times we have visited Cyprus we stayed with them or was able to get accommodation on the base, but that is no longer possible as my son has been moved to a newer but smaller house and the forces have made providing accommodation for visiting relatives more difficult.
Not being on the forces base this time meant we were able to more easily to explore the coast near to your apartment. We found several bars/ restaurants, which if you used them, provided free use of large swimming pools. That is not to say that the pool at the apartment was ideal for a quick dip before going out.
I got chatting to the guy who lives in the apartment below yours and he was able to provide me with where the best shops were.
We are taking the liberty of providing the Web site link to your apartment booking to other RAF folk, my son knows in Cyprus, in case the have visiting relatives who need to know of a very good, and reasonable priced apartment to rent.
I would add that my wife is an Area Cleaning Manager whose job it is to inspect her employees work. Although she has often found good class hotels not up to her standard, she could not fault the cleanliness of your apartment.
We will most certainly consider booking with you again.
