Taravista will appeal to those wanting to sample the traditional life Cyprus has to offer. This villa is perfect for a peaceful relaxing break away from the summer crowds. It immediately gives a vibe of privacy and relaxation upon entering. The feeling of approaching the pool area with its dramatic scenery is the most thrilling part. It enjoys breathtaking sea views over the ghost town of Famagusta which becomes even more magical when the sun is setting. Spacious interior decorated in a traditional style with lots of care and attention to detail. The roof top patio is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a chilled glass of wine or ice cold beer while you enjoy an unforgettable sunset.
Airconditioining is available in all rooms. The ground floor consists of open plan kitchen, dining and living areas, shower room and 2 bedrooms with patio doors from one bedroom out to the terrace overlooking the private infinity pool. The master bedroom with balcony and ensuite bathroom is located on the 2nd floor. This is to the rear and also looks out over the pool and those magnificant views of Famagusta. The third floor is the roof top patio with gas BBQ and dining for 6. A great place to spend those evenings during sunset.
Located in the Paralimni area of Protaras where you can sample local beers and cuisine or browse amongst the variety of shops. Within a 10 minute drive you can be in the bustling resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa where you will find many golden sandy beaches with crystal clear waters. Both resorts have plenty to offer the holiday maker. It's a great destination with something for everyone and a wonderful warm climate over 340 days of the year.

The decor in the villa is of a very high standard throughout. The interior design is of modern yet traditional Cypriot nature with rattan and wooden beams on the ceilings and white washed walls with sea blue door and window surrounds adding to the traditional Cypriot architecture.
All rooms, including the bedrooms have air conditioning units. There is a dining table in the spacious, well equipped kitchen area which seats 6 and openplan to this is the lounge area. This consists of 2 armchairs and one large sofa, coffee table, flat screen TV with satellite connection showing a range of english programmes, DVD player and music system for your entertainment which offers surround sound. We encourage guests to browse through and sample the book collection which has developed from previous guests' visits. Off the lounge are two sets of patio doors which open to the terrace, pool and garden areas.
Also located on the ground floor there is a Shower Room with Wash Hand Basin and Toilet. Adjacent are the twin and double bedrooms, both have generous hanging and drawer facilities and luxury mattresses. The blue theme is carried throughout with the use of blue throws on all beds. The twin room has sliding patio doors to the outside terrace and pool with the double bedroom having a TV and Playststion with games.
On the second floor is the stunning Master Bedroom which has a King Size Bed with a Luxury Mattress. A large en-suite with Bath, Shower, Wash Hand Basin and Toilet. Off the Master Bedroom is a Balcony with bistro style table and chairs with views over the Infinity Pool and those panoramic views of Famagusta. The Master Bedroom also has its own fridge, safe, T.V and spacious storage facilities.
This villa would be ideal for families and friends sharing.

The private infinity swimming pool, terrace, roof top patio and garden are great places to soak up the sunshine, there are 6 sun beds, tables, chairs and gas BBQ. There are both dining options located on the poolside terrace and the roof top to offer you that flexibity when dining 'at home'.
The swimming pool is regularly cleaned (with minimal disruption). The garden is also maintained regularly for your enjoyment. There is ample space for children to play. Lots of area to eat "Al Fresco". There is ample space for off road parking.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival which will offer you all those first holiday basics. Baby equipment such as cot, highchair are also available if required and should be requested in advance.
Taravista is managed in Cyprus by a villa management company - Oceanview based in Protaras who are available on hand 24 hours a day should you require them.

This region of Cyprus enjoys an estimated 345 days of sunshine a year and is ideal for a holiday throughout the year.
The best beaches on the island can be found in this region - Cape Greco, Nissi Beach, Fig Tree Bay and many more - many have been awarded the 'Blue Flag' which means they are great for families with small children as the beaches are fine white sand which gently shelves into the crystal clean waters of the Mediterranean.
The sea is excellent for snorkelling and scuba diving and there are all kinds of water sports - some quite tame and others quite adventurous!
The Troodos mountains are a great place to visit in contrast to the beaches - here you will find pretty villages and the air temperature will be a little cooler - and of course in the winter you can ski
You can also spend some time in Nicosia (last divided city in Europe) with its shops, boutiques and places of interest or visit a church or two. Recently people have been able to cross into northern Cyprus with one border control point in Nicosia city for pedestrians. Here you can sample Turkish Cypriot culture.
The Paralimni area
The Villa is located in a quiet residential area outside Paralimni, but still less than a 5min walk from restaurants, supermarkets, shops and bakeries.
You will find local bakers offering fresh bread 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - there are also other everyday products available from the supermarkets. Some Fabulous Typical Cypriot Restaurants are within walking distance.
There are many beautiful churches.
There is a new bus service in the centre of the village and the link to the Bus Service is http://www.osea.com.cy/index.php – when you get on the site – you can “click” on the English version and everything you want to know should be there
There are two water parks a short drive away, the water park in Protaras is smaller and more suited to the younger family. Whereas Ayia Napa hosts the larger of the parks and boasts a variety rides. A zoo and aquatic centre are also close by.
Places of interest include the nature reserve of Cape Greco, the 'Famagusta' viewpoint, museums and monasteries.
The resort towns of Protaras and Ayia Napa are less than 10mins drive away, or by bus. Buses are cheap - approx. 1,20 Euros. Taxis are also readily available and affordable. Kepparis which also has many restaurants, shops and bars is less than 5mins away by car.
The beautiful beaches at Nissi or Fig Tree Bay are less than 10 minutes away. They are beautiful sheltered coves with crystal clear water - almost turquoise and offer a variety of watersports and boats trips.
