The Famagusta District
Famagusta is well known for its golden sandy beaches & sparkling blue waters which embraces the eastern corner of the island.
Ayia Napa, Protaras & Paralimni are towns in the district of Famagusta and for those who love the beach and the water sports they are considered paradise. Without doubt the best beaches are found here with Protaras's 'Fig Tree Bay' & 'Nissi Beach' but just a few to name.
The Famagusta region is famous for its fertile red soil for growing the famous 'Cyprus Potatoes' , old windmills, fishing harbours, mediaevel monasteries and small churches.
Venture further afield & the Troodos Mountains beckon with some outstanding natural beauty.
This region really does have everything to catering for the family, those who like their entertainment, partying in the renowned 'Ayia Napa' & just appreciating the natural beauty and history of the area.
Paralimni area
The Anemomylos Development or "Windmills" as its known is located between Paralimni and Kapparis. Kapparis, a 30/35 minute walk or 2 minute drive away, is a smaller resort than the nearby Protaras and has its own local beaches and watersports. It also has a good choice of Bars and Tavernas.
Paralimni - This is the main commercial town and is a 15 min walk or 2min drive & has a good variety of shops, even including a small 'Marks & Spencer'
Protaras - The lively family resort of Protaras is less than a 10 minutes drive or taxi ride away, with beautiful beaches and a good night life.
Ayia Napa - This is just a 15 minute drive or taxi ride away. With it's picturesque harbour, large waterpark,funpark and lively nightlife Ayia Napa provides a more energetic option for those who have the stamina!
Discover Northern Cyprus - From here it's a short drive to the border where you can explore 'Unspoilt Northern Cyprus' and pick up some bargain leather & clothes goods. Visit the town of 'Famagusta' which has been left untouched from the Turkish Invasion in 1974 (Note: Access restrictions apply & no photography allowed here)
Other nearby attractions include: the Nature Reserve at Cape Greco, the 'Famagusta' viewpoint, small local zoo museums and monastries.
How to get there
Fly to Larnaca - Paralimni (Protaras) is approx. 64KM away or 40mins by Road Cheapest flights tend to be from London Airports & Manchester, try FlyThomasCook, Dialaflight, EasyJET (into Paphos - approx 1 3/4hrs drive) First Choice or for extra legroom 'Cyprus Airways'. Cheap Car Hire available through myself with 'GO Rent a Car' who'll do Airport drop offs & then take you to the destination Free of Charge. Airport Transfers can be arranged for £25.00 CYP Each Way Local Taxis readily available from Airport to Paralimni but will cost approx. £40/50 CYP E/W therefore cheaper by private Airport Transfer.

Nearest town is Paralimni (15min walk) - Terrific shopping area for designner clothes, shoes and jewellary plus many restaurants, supermarkets, gift shops and banks etc. Local shops, bus stops & taxi area are 5 min walk from house situated on the main road.
Nearest Resort is Protaras (5min drive/ bus or taxi ride) - This has to be the most beautiful beach resort on the island with the renowned 'Fig Tree Bay' boasting as probably the best beach on Cyprus. There's an array of family entertainment, shops, bars, restaurants, children's fun parks, superb dazzling 'Water Fireworks Show'. Nightlife is good with plenty of live entertainment but is more relaxed than our close neighbour of 'Ayia Napa'.

You should first either e-mail or telephone us with details of the accommodation you wish to reserve, together with the dates. We will then check availability and provisionally reserve the property .
If you wish to go ahead with your booking, you must request a Booking Form + Terms & Conditions, which we will post to you. You must then complete the Booking Form + Terms & Conditions and return it to us together with your deposit cheque of £100.00
Please note; we must receive your Booking Form + Terms & Conditions and appropriate payments within 7 days of the date we confirm your provisional reservation, otherwise your provisional booking will lapse.
Once we have received your signed Booking Form + Terms & Conditions and all appropriate payments, we will then confirm your booking, by issuing you a confirmation e-mail.
Keys will be allocated on your arrival at the home or can be picked up directly from our Property Management
Company located at the 'Ozone' bar next to KARAS Tavern. Further details will be sent once booking is confirmed.
Please check all details on the booking form carefully because this letter read in conjunction, with the Booking Form + Terms & Conditions and the property details, set out, what we are promising to provide. If you have any queries you must contact us immediately.
You may occupy the house from 16:00 hrs on your date of arrival.
We ask that you depart by 10:00 hrs on your final day.
We require a 75.00 EUROS Cash Deposit, payable locally, to cover cost of any breakages or damage sustained to the property during your stay. This will be re-funded, less any deductable chargers for malicious damage, breakages or adverse cleaning that maybe required, at the end of your stay.
