The caravan is located on a child and pet friendly site on the edge of Par in Cornwall. The caravan is on a good sized plot, so you are not overlooked in the main bedroom. The beach is only 2 minutes walk away.
The Television has a DVD player built in as well as freeview, and an Ipod docking station, so you can listen to your own music. If you prefer there is also a Radio/CD player.
The caravan has an outside storage shed, so if you have brought the children's bikes with you, they can be locked away, (padlocked), so you don't have to take them with you when you go exploring/shopping etc.
A patio set is also in the storage shed, so that you can eat al-fresco, or when it is really hot, you can sit under the shade of the tree.
There is a nature reserve also by the park, where different types of birds can be seen, and you can feed the ducks and swans.
The village of Par is a few minutes drive away, or a few minutes walking via the footpaths, where there are the usual array of shops. About 10 - 15 minutes away by car is the Eden project with its Biomes, always is worth a visit. The town of St Austell is about 20 minutes away, The park is ideally located for many of Cornwalls attractions for a family day out.
When you enter the road leading to the park,. you will pass the Ship Inn, this has a beer garden so you can take the children and the dog. The food is good, and there is a good selection of beers/ales/wines and soft drinks, and you do not need to worry about driving back to the caravan, as it is only a 10 minute walk.
The caravan has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge, a double and a twin bedroom. There is also a fitted shower room, there is a digital television with the "freeview" channels, a cd/radio player.
Each room has a heater, and in the lounge is a gas fire. Bed linen provided (excluding bottom sheets and pillow cases which are available for hire)
The Pavillion Our on-site pavillion is home to our indoor heated swimming pool, complete with aqua slide. We also have an amusement arcade with pool tables and a small shop selling ice creams, a selection of hot and cold drinks and a variety of morning goods.
Play Areas There are 2 adventure play areas on Par Sands, to keep the little ones entertained for hours on end. They are both fully equipped with swings, slides and much more and have been built with safety in mind with protective flooring on both play areas
Tennis Courts, Crazy Golf, and Bowling Green We offer facilities here on the park for tennis and crazy golf and the local bowling club have given us full use of their bowling green, which is located next to the pavillion. All these facilities are centred around the pavillion and are available to everyone on Par Sands. A small charge applies for the use of these facilities. Bowling Green can only be used when not in use by members of the club i.e. matches & practice.
Wildlife Lake Here at Par Sands Holiday Park, we have our very own natural wildlife lake bordering the attractive drive into the Park. The lake is brimming with Mute Swans, Ducks, Canada Geese, Guillemots, Herons and Eaglets which all benefit from this natural haven, along with the many varieties of fish. Our “No Fishing” Policy has helped us win the David Bellamy Gold Award for 5 years in a row and keeps the water fowl on the lake all year round.

If you wish to eat out, there is a pub at the entrance, The Ship, (where you drove in), this is a good pub with good food and a good variety of beers/ales/wines and soft drinks There is a beer garden, and a small garden for the children. You can also bring your dog(s)

Follow the A30 heading South West At the Innis Downs roundabout take the 1st exit onto A391 following signs to St Austell Continue on A391 until Traffic Lights, turn left onto A390 follow signs to Fowey Continue on route to Fowey until you see the sign post for Par Sands Holiday Park on your right at the Ship Inn Using Sat Nav
PL24 2AS takes you to the road above the park Carry on past your destination point where you will see the sign post for Par Sands Holiday Park and The Ship Inn on your right hand side Turn right onto the Beach road and continue past the wildlife lake You will then see Par Sands Reception on your right hand side By Train
Par Station is located on the Cornish Main Line from Plymouth to Penzance.
From Par Station:
Turn right out of the station and follow the road into Par Village and the A3082 towards Fowey On the right you will see a signpost for Par Sands Holiday Park and The Ship Inn Turn right down the Beach road and continue past the wildlife lake You will then see Par Sands Reception on your right hand side

Conditions
A well-behaved dog is allowed, and the owners must clean up behind them, there are facilites on site. Strictly no smoking in the caravan Duvets are provided for each of the beds, but undersheets etc can be hired when you are booking, or bring your own.
