This beautiful 2 bed House is situated in a secluded & quiet location in the village of Tala in a small select, private residential area. It has panoramic views from upstairs across Paphos to the crystal blue Mediterranean Sea. Based in a cul-de-sac it is surrounded by beautiful flowering shrubs & trees such as Jasmine, Hibiscus & Bougainvillea. A few steps lead from the back garden/patio to the large kidney-shaped south-facing communal pool which it overlooks. A lovely taverna, Italian restaurant, convenience store, English delicatessen and pharmacy are within 200 metres of the villa.
The village square, a few minutes walk away has breathtaking views over Paphos. Here you will find tavernas, restaurants, a new piano bar, a supermarket and a beautiful church in this quaint, traditional village setting. Coral Bay is only 10 minutes away, Paphos Harbour tourist area & Tsada Golf Course are around 15 minutes away.
Our house has every amenity we could think of including UK TV, air-conditioning, towels etc. We have even fitted a new contemporary Master Bedroom Suite & new kitchen appliances.

The Paphos District
Fall in love with Aphrodite’s isle, where legend has it the goddess of love arose from the waves, and discover ancient UNESCO-listed sites, wonderful beaches and crystal clear waters. Although compact, this attractive island offers a rich variety of landscapes from pine-clad mountains to golden sandy beaches.
Paphos was the capital of the island in Roman times, and dates from 1400 BC. Legend has it that the city is built on the spot where the the goddess, Aphrodite, was born.
Today, Paphos has become a popular seaside resort with a population of 39,500. A 10 minute drive brings you to Kato Paphos, the playground of holidaymakers, built around the medieval port with its numerous luxury hotels, tavernas and entertainment venues. A more hectic night life with a large abundance of bars and clubs is offered in Paphos. Coral Bay also offers many bars and is renowned to have the best sandy beach in the Paphos area.
The stunning Troodos mountains with Mount Olympus at its peak is the place to work up an appetite. With its charming hilltop villages and vine-blessed slopes, a chance to enjoy hiking, cycling, bird watching and in winter time, skiing.
Meanwhile, the rugged Akamas National Park north west of Paphos is the place to see unspoilt nature. It’s here that protected loggerhead turtles return to beautiful Lara Bay each year to lay their eggs.
With its Mediterranean climate Cyprus, on average, boasts around 325 days of sunshine with summer temperatures up to 32c and winter temperatures around 18c. Not many countries can enjoy such a wonderful climate.
And not forgetting they drive on the left hand side of the road and all the road signs are in English.
Paphos / Tala area
Tala is a well cared for traditional village with its own tavernas and coffee shops and friendly hospitable residents. It is well established for combining the charm of a local Cypriot village with all the requirements of a thriving British ex-pat community. The panoramic views that combine sea and mountain, the amazing climate that it offers, and the simplicity of the region's inhabitants were the main characteristics that led to the development of tourism in the community of Tala.
