Home description

The Townhouse has a balcony upstairs with a BBQ and seating area and boasts a small garden downstairs with its own private loungers and a gate leading on to the pool area.

Tala Chorio is located 5 minutes walk from several good tavernas and bars which is an ideal base for enjoying the mediterranean sunshine. The nearest beach is the Blue Flag beach at Coral Bay which is a 15 minute drive from the village. The beach has sun lounges, water sports for hire and a cafe for all of your refreshments.

The nearest airport to the property is Paphos which is approximately 20 minutes drive. Secondary airport is Larnaca which is one and a half hours drive away.

There is a golf course at Tsada which is a 20 minute drive away and also courses at Aphrodite hills and Secret Valley.

During the winter months skiing in the Troodos Mountains is available which is approximately one and a half hours away.

The Paphos District

Cyprus enjoys the very best type of mediterranean climate with about 340 warm and sunny days a year. During the six months of summer the sun shines for an average of 11.5 hours a day.

Paphos is the birth place of Aphrodite, It is steeped in a wealth of history, culture and mythology. It is a UNESCO world heritage site where you will find an abundance of archeological sites including the medieval fort, mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings. Night life/Restaurants feature predominately along the seafront and harbour areas. Boat trips to Egypt and Israel can be booked at the harbour.

Latchi and Polis are a thirty minute drive from Tala this area is renowned for its fish restaurants and unspoilt countryside. The Arkamas National Park is an ideal area for picnicking and walking.


Paphos / Tala area

The village square is a 5 minute walk where it has all the necessary amenities. It has two small super markets and several very good taverna's and bars. There is also a fine example of a Cypriot orthodox church, the spectacular Ayios Neophytos Monastery is approx 2 km away from the village centre.

Easter/Newyear are very important times of religious festivities as the village celebrates with fireworks and a late night candlelight processions.

The nearest golf course is a 15 minute drive to Tsada.
