The Paphos District
Cyprus enjoys an almost constant climate with year round sun, with almost everyday being fine and dry. Extremes of temperature are rare on Cyprus, and even in the height of summer when temperatures reach over 90°F you'll find cooler, soothing weather inland toward the mountainous Troodos.
Summer begins in early May and extends right the way through into October, meaning it is warm enough, almost every day of the year, to enjoy a dip in the sea or a day by the pool. The area of Paphos, across to Kissonerga, Coral Bay and Peyia is sprinkled with banana groves, carob trees, rolling hilss and magnificent coastline. We believe this area to be one of the best, most colourful on the holiday island of Cyprus, offering tourists so much choice within a small geographical area.

The shops and retaurants Coral Bat are just a short stroll away from the villa. Coral Bay is the touristy part of our chosen region of Paphos. It is a growing, attractive holiday resort with a huge choice of tavernas, bars, shops and beaches.
The Coral Bay area is surrounded by tempting walks along rugged clifftops leading to the Sea Caves area – or short bus rides to nearby Tomb of the Kings or monasteries.
Hire a sand buggy or quad bike from the Coral Bay resort itself and either join a “safari” or go with friends to explore the start of the Akamas region in the west of Cyprus only 10 minutes by road from Coral Bay and Peyia. Experience the rugged terrain and spectacular coastline from the seat of a buggy as you bounce along the rough roads through the edge of the Akamas peninsular or dot along the cliff tops of Sea Caves and race the waves!

Paphos International Airport is situated approx nine miles (15km) east of Paphos.
Taxis offer transport to the city centre from outside the airport terminal and there is a regular bus service into town departing outside the terminal building.
