The Paphos District
Paphos offers its visitors a diverse selection of history and places of interest all within easy access. The legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, Paphos is a World Heritage site. Places of interest include: The Castle in the Port area, Tombs of the Kings and further outside the area are the Troodos Mountains, offering ski-ing in the winter and walks during the spring and summer. The climate offers long hot summers and mild winters, which makes this a very popular destination all year round.

Paphos has a beautiful harbour area offering a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and bars. With boat trips, fishing trips and scuba diving all of which can be booked locally. Other popular activities include: golf, there are three courses all within 30 mins drive, Go-Karting and Jeep Safaris. There is also a very popular covered market offering crafts, souvenirs, jewellery, clothes, leather goods, with a selection of cafes and bars nearby with fanastic views of the sea.
