Home description

Modern, spacious, single storey villa with private pool. on the outskirts of the traditional Cypriot village of Tala.

All living areas open out onto the large 'child proof' balcony (overlooking the 10x4m pool). This is equipped with tables, chairs and a sun canopy; and is ideally suited for 'al-fresco' dining.

From the balcony there are panoramic sea views of the Paphos and Coral Bay coastlines. Steps lead down to the large patio area surrounding the pool, where you will find sun lounger’s, parasols and the family sized gas BBQ.

All rooms are air conditioned.

The Paphos District

Paphos is known as the cultural capital of Cyprus and is situated on the South West of the island. It is approximately a 15 minute drive from the villa.
There is a lot to do and see in Paphos if you wish.
St Paul's Pillar, the pre Christian Tombs of the Kings, the recently excavated house of Dionysus and the Temple of Aphrodite are amongst the many places of historical interest in and around the town of Paphos.
The old town of Paphos boasts tavernas, cafes and open-air fruit, meat, fish and vegetable markets. Local supermarkets stock both home grown produce and brand name items.

In contrast the tourist area, known as Kato Paphos, (where most of the hotels and apartment complexes are situated) has a wealth of restaurants, bars and clubs that stretch from the pretty fishing harbour and castle all along the coastal road.


Paphos / Coral Bay area

Tala village square with it's traditional Cypriot welcome, is a ten minute uphill walk from the villa.
There you will find several restaurants/tavernas, two coffee shops, two bars and two small shops, as well as the local church.

Tsada golf course is a 15 minute drive away, Secret Valley is around 40 minutes and Aphrodite Hills around one hour.

If you prefer to concentrate on sun worshipping/watersports, there are plenty of beaches and tiny coves offering these facilities. The best beach in the area being, Coral Bay which is around a 15 minute drive.
Paphos Aphrodite Water Park is a 20 minute drive from the villa and provides an excellent day out for all the family.

Many companies fly to Cyprus from most UK airports - often flights are cheaper if you can travel 'mid week'
Early booking is recommended, especially for travel during school holidays.

-Paphos Airport is a 20 minute drive away.
-Larnaca Airport is around a 1½ hour drive.

We can arrange for a taxi to collect you from the airport. Alternatively you may prefer to hire a car at the airport, or we can arrange to have one delivered to the villa. In Cyprus, they drive on the same side of the road as in the UK!!

The interior of the property comprises a master bedroom (en-suite), a second double bedroom and a third bedroom equipped with two sets of full size bunk beds and a sofa bed. (The bunks can be separated to form twin beds if required), family bathroom, open plan lounge/dining room and a spacious fully fitted kitchen.

There is a basement (accessed from the pool area) housing a second kitchen, washing machine, tumble drier, a second fridge and a third bathroom.

Further details outdoors:
The private 10x4m pool is ideal for cooling off in the summer sun.
At the shallow end it has 'Roman Steps' to facilitate easy entry.
There is a small Gazebo within the garden providing shade, if needed, along with three large parasols and 6 sun loungers.
There are several sets of outdoor tables & chairs for you to enjoy your 'al fresco' dining either 'pool side' or on the raised verandah.

A welcome pack is provided for your arrival, extra provisions can be provided (at cost) if ordered in advance.
Air conditioning/heating is included in the rental price.


Conditions

A security deposit of £100 is required along with the final payment. This will be returned within 28 days after the holiday unless any damage or excess cleaning requirements are noted.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday price is required to confirm a booking. The balance is to be paid eight weeks prior to departure.
