Home description

Villa Dioni lies on a great spot between Coral Bay and Sea Caves.
The villa is only 300m away from the sea and built on a small hill, so the view is fantastic.
A 100 meters private road drives you to the villa. At the end there is a stone plaza with a stone fountain. Here there is a parking area.

A few stone steps lead to another stone plaza and a small garden lies across this plaza. At the end of this plaza there is a lawned garden that leads to the pool area. In the middle of this stone square there is the main entrance of the villa. On the entrance of the villa there is a small hall leading from the left to a twin bedroom and to a shower. In the middle there is a comfortable sitting room with satelite TV and from the right to the main kitchen. The large kitchen is well fitted with wooden units and has dishwasher, microwave . A washing machine is also located in the utility room.

From the sitting area as well from the kitchen and the hall, balcony doors lead to a very big veranda. Some steps take you down to the pools square. The pools dimensions are 10m x 5m ( depth 1m-2m ). On this square there is also a barbecue and a summer house. Four flore scents given a green touch to the poolsquare. On the right of the main entrance a beautiful staircase leads to the first floor. Climbing the stairs you find your self in a small kitchen area. This area leads to the three bedrooms. The first bedroom is a twin bedroom with ensuit a shower, the second is the master bedroom with a five feets double bed with ensuit shower +jacuzzi. The third bedroom is also a five feets double bed with ensuit bathroom.

From the two double beds bedrooms and the small kitchen balcony doors lead to a big veranda with pergola. The interior of the villa is fully aircoditioned. The view from inside and outside of the villa is extra ordinary. All the verandas and the pool square are surrounded by stone columns giving to the villa the feeling of a small palace.

The Paphos District

Paphos is a coastal town in the southwest of Cyprus.

Paphos is the mythical birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite ( The Greeks agreed that Aphrodite had landed at the site of Paphos when she rose from the sea).

In Greco-Roman times Paphos was the island's capital, and it is famous for the remains of the Roman Governor's palace, where extensive, fine mosaics are a major tourist attraction.

Today Paphos is a popular sea and a fast developing tourist resort, home to an attractive fishing harbour.


Paphos / Coral Bay area

This charming village clings to the rugged hills that act a backdrop to Cyprus ' most photogenic stretch of coastline.

Below glitter the crystal waters of the Mediterranean, while to the north the silhouetted peak of Ayios Yeoyios marks the beginning of the untouched Akamas Peninsula.

The region from Coral Bay to Sea Caves is the most attractive place.


How to get there

Fly to Paphos interational airport or to Larnaca International airport. - The distance from Larnaca is about 1 and half hour.
You can fly to Paphos Airport which is about 25 minutes drive away. There are taxi drivers waiting there day and night who can take you direct to the villa or you can hire a car. A lot of companies for hire a car are there in the airport.
