The Paphos District
The oldest capital of Cyprus today is a small charming town with an attractive little harbour with innumerable archaeological sites to explore. Here, according to legend, Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty rose from the water. This was her place of worship. Even the town's name is linked to the goddess, for Paphos was the name of the mythological daughter of Venus and Pygmalion. Paphos has an air of holiday charm combined with history and olden day elegance. The upper part of the town, which leads to the shopping area, is characterised by its classical style buildings while the lower part - known as Kato Paphos had a life of its own. This part, down near the sea has its own harbour, fish taverns, souvenir shops and several beautiful hotels with important archaeological sites around them.
Paphos / Coral Bay area
Coral Bay is one of the most popular destinations in Cyprus. Located on the fringes of Paphos town, Coral Bay offers you the complete family holiday. Coral Bay is built around a main strip which features a number of restaurants, taverns, bars and clubs. The strip is where families spend their evenings, Agios therefore focuses on renting holiday villas that are within walking distance. There is a variety of restaurants to choose from, many of them offering English meals for those who do not wish to brave the rich Mediterranean cuisine. Almost all of the restaurants open out onto the sidewalks, allowing the cool summer breezes in, creating a truly Cypriot ambience.
Coral Bay beach is roughly 5 mins walk from the main strip and this is the prime holiday beach in the summer for tourists traveling to Cyprus. Many of the Cyprus villas Agios has in Coral Bay are within walking distance of the beach, some of them right up on the water’s edge. Coral Bay is not the quietest location, this is a place where there is always activity, a place for families where everything is within walking distance. As it is more a commercial travel spot, if you are looking for a more secluded or traditional escape, we would suggest looking for villas in areas such as Pissouri or Aphrodite Hills. Being only a 5 min drive from Paphos, Harbour also makes Coral Bay a good option for your holiday this summer. When you are not on the beach, take a trip down to the harbour in Paphos and take in some stunning scenery. With shops, restaurants and small beaches, it makes for a very pleasant day out. Of course it is also makes for some excellent evenings out as the area is always on a buzz.
In the other direction from Coral Bay, you can take a drive to St Georges and sea caves. Lovely tourist spots with breathtaking scenery. St Georges also features a local tavern overlooking the sparkling sea which we highly recommend. The Paphos bird park is also a couple of kilometres from the Coral Bay, so there is much to see and do when enjoying your holiday here in Cyprus.

Further details indoors: Access to the villa from the patio is via two sliding doorways, one into the dining area, the other into the living area. Furnished to a very high standard, luxury and comfort is ensured. The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons, and is separated from the dining room by a serving shelf and service hatch, so the chef also gets to enjoy the sea views!
On the ground level is a double bedroom with built in cupboards, with shower room. The back door of the villa leads into a private parking areas. The upper level spoils you with 2 bedrooms, one double, the other a twin each with direct sea views and balcony. Large sliding doors allow a lot of light into the rooms, enhancing the Mediterranean ambience in the villa. A bathroom is also located on this level. There is a lower level to the villa that will feature a sleeper couch and seating area, so the villa can sleep 2 extra children if using the sleeper couch. Everything is brand new and fresh and the villa is furnished out for your maximum enjoyment. You will be within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and beaches.
