Home description

Villa Arcadia is a Traditional Cypriot Villa located in the delightful village area of Tala, The Villa has pretty landscaped gardens with private swimming pool. Spacious open plan living/dining area, with feature fireplace fitted with a real flame gas fire.

Master double bedroom on ground floor, has en-suite facilities and patio doors leading to pool terrace. Two further double bedrooms (twin beds) one with balcony, are located on the upper floor, along with large family bathroom.

Living/Dining room and all Bedrooms have the benefit of Air-Conditioning units for the Summer months, and Heating for the cooler months plus Ceiling Fans.

The Kitchen is well equipped with an Oven and Ceramic hob, Auto Washing machine, Fridge/freezer, Microwave, Iron and Ironing board and plenty of Cooking utensils and Cutlery. The Living room has Satellite TV with DVD and VHS players, and a separate Stereo CD, Tape and Radio unit

The Paphos District

The Villa is just 2 minutes walk from 2 x Tavernas/Restaurants and a Delicatessen, and 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of the lovely traditional village of Tala, which has several Tavernas/Restaurants and 2 x Grocers shops all with a 'local feel'. Tala is a prestigious residential area which has the great benefit of cooler, less humid air during the hot summer months. Due to its elevated position there are spectacular views down to the coastline around Paphos and Coral Bay. A 15 minute drive will take you to Kato Paphos which is steeped in history, here you will find the pretty harbour, medieval fort, restaurants, bars, shops and lively nightlife.


Paphos / Tala area

Paphos is listed as a World Heritage Site with Third Century Mosaics, and the Tombs of the Kings. From Tala you can easily drive to the Akamas Peninsular, and the Troodos Mountains, where you can explore Kykkos Monastery and several wineries producing local Cypriot wines.

The 12th Century Monastery of St Neophytos is only a 5 minute drive from the Villa

For those interested in Golf then nearby Tsada offers an 18 hole Golf Course, with a further two courses within a 30 minute drive

Paphos has its own Waterpark, an ideal place to to entertain the Children

Conditions

The property is managed by a British couple who live nearby - and to make your holiday a little more stress free, can arrange rental car pick-up, Cot Hire, even a Tailor made extended shopping list prior to your arrival - All charged locally. We can also can arrange airport transfers on your behalf

Our Property Managers will be meeting you at the Villa on arrival, and can be contacted during your stay if you require further help.

We can also arrange Car Hire if required (often works out cheaper than sorting one at the Airport), in fact please inform us of any special requirements and we will be pleased to help.

All prices are per week and include a 'welcome pack' 10% Discount for 2nd week booked for 2 week holidays Bed linen and Bathroom towels. Beach Towels not provided. 25% (Non refundable) deposit is required with your booking and the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure.

A security deposit of £150.00 must be paid in advance before your arrival. This will be refunded once the key has been returned and the property has been cleaned and found to be without damage, or excessive final cleaning.

Air Conditioning/Heating is charged extra at £7.00 per day for 4 x units inclusive ( 3 in the Bedrooms and 1 in the Living Area) ie £49.00 per week

Hi Martyn,
Well we are now back from Paphos and we had an enjoyable relaxing time in the villa, which was great, and the location was ideal for us. Thanks for the maps and various instructions which came in very useful during our stay. We acquired a few additional maps which we have left in the villa as we thought they would be useful. Rob and Sue were very helpful and it was reassuring to have someone to turn to just in case and the rental car at the villa worked out well.

The restaurants and food were very good and Fat Mammas was quite an experience!!
