The Penthouse is fitted throughout with the best quality fly screens!!! and has a lovely breeze that comes through the well placed windows and patio doors (yes even with the fly screens shut). You have the option of having Full Air Conditioning in the Lounge and Bedrooms, if needed at an extra small charge.
A 37" HD Panasonic Vierra LCD TV with Home Cinema Experience, a selection of DVDs of family favourites to choose from, the quite hillside location, unobstructed sea and mountain views.
Please note that the TV Satellite system will not be available this year, as the feedback I have is that guests prefer to just listen to CDs or watch DVDs. So if you have a a few favourites pieces of music or films you would like to watch as you relax please do bring them with you.

The Penthouse also comes with a large communal swimming pool, jacuzzi, and children's paddling pool which can be overlooked from the Penthouse, a Gym (with the standard safety warnings notices) and landscaped areas for you to stroll through and enjoy all year round.
As a bonus, the Penthouse also has its own allocated undercover parking space.
The apartment is within 10 mins walking distance to the lovely village square of Mesa Chorio where you will find the charming local church, a mini market, supermarket, a kebab style cafe, The Terebinth Tree Art Cafe and the newly opened Magic Garden (which has had great reviews). The energetic walk up to the village is well worth it because as you come back down towards Leda Heights you cannot but help stop and admire the spectacular views over the Paphos landscape of gentle hills and built up areas leading to the Stunning views of the harbour area.
The Penthouse Apartment is an easy 20 minutes drive from Paphos International Airport (easy to follow driving instructions provided) and only a 10 minutes drive from the centre of Paphos town.
Numerous blue flag beaches are just a 10-20 minutes drive. (check out the VisitCyprus.com site for more details).
The apartment is well located for easy access to Coral Bay and Beach (one of the most popular beaches), Ayious Georgious to the South West. The Akamas and , Polis and Latchi in the Chrysochou Bay area are within easy access of the apartment.
The Penthouse apatment is within easy driving distance of the Paphos Harbour but high enough in the hills to avoid the humidity of Kato (or lower) Paphos in the Summer months. Guests have commented on the freshness and the better air quality due to its elevated position. The elevated position gives this Penthouse apartment spectacular sea views over the Paphos area.

A full copy of rental conditions will be supplied. This is a short term holiday let, self catering apartment. The price reflects that it is not serviced, though clean towels and linen are provided. A washing machine is provided for your use. Allow time on your last day for an exit inspection.

The Paphos region


Paphos with its mountains, hills and coastal plain, its pine-clad forests, its laced and unspoilt beaches, its basilicas, monasteries, castles, mosaics (considered the finest in the Eastern Mediterranean), its medieval churches, and places of special interest which include Aphrodite's Rock (Petrou tou Romiou) the birthplace of the Godess of Love, the Sanctuary of Aphrodite (Kouklia) and the Baths of Aphrodite and the natural wonders like the impressive gorge at Avakas in the still protected and pristine Akamas area, constitutes an attractive and incredibly fascinating holiday destination that truly does have something for everyone.
The wealth of cultural, historical, physical and economic features led to Paphos being declared as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
Discover why all year round tourists flock to the charming and picturesque old harbour of Paphos, from all overr the world. Its fish restaurants are frequented by locals and tourists alike. Away from its beautiful beaches and the rich historical sites, the Paphos Harbour provides a bustling seafront promenade that has been recently pedestrianised, although car access is also also provided for during the daytime. The harbour is well worth a visit at different times of the day and evening. This way you will see it in all its spleandour. Get your portrait taken, get a water colour painting or postcard from the local Cypriot Water Colour artist, get your name crafted on a metal wire and mounted on a chain or get a strand of your hair braided for a handful of Euros.
Visit Coral Bay, the horseshoe cove with its two edges ending in abrupt cliffs and the middle constitutes a long stretch of fine grained sandy beach bordered by the rock of coral limestone from which the Bay gets its name. The most spectacular views of Coral Bay can be seen as you head out of Peyia (Pegeia villageafter refreshments or a lunch visit).
About 8 Km north-west of Peyia there is a tiny settlement of cafes, restaurants and a modern whitewashed church dedicated to St George and much venerated by the people of the surrounding villages which is well worth a visit, again at differnt times of the day. The local Fish Taverna is popular with both tourists and locals. There is also a small sheltered fishing harbour with a small beach that tourists flock to in the summer months. Just opposite the sea lies the picturesque isle of St George or Geronisos, at a distance of 300 metres. The island is home to sea gulls, rock doves and is covered with lentisk, thyme and various herbs. The isle was once inhabited judging by the findings of wells, cisterns and foundations of houses belonging to the Hellenistic period.
Polis which lies in between the Chrysochou Bay with the Paphos forest on the right and the Akamas peninsula on the leftis well worth a visit. It is on the way to the picturesque harbour of Latsi or Latchi. Just like Coral Bay it is also a horseshoe shape but with two stone jetties flanked by two lighthouses. Dozens of fishing boats, small and large are moored in the harbour and various bags containign fishing nets are almost always lined up on the jetty. Fishermen, withtheri assistants stil start off at midnight when there is a moon to fish up the Akamas,or even further afield to Kioni then Cape Pomos and even towards Rhodes where th elocal cruises from Paphos Harbour sail to.
The Avakas Gorge - accessible only with a 4x4 is about 2 km long origintating in Koloni and ending in Toxeftra and is the combined product of valley deepening and rising of the land in relation to the sea.
The Akamas region, often referred to as the Akamas Peninsula, in the extreme north-west of the island, is a rugges, wild and attractive area with unspoilt beachesand rocky coastlne. The area is a nature reserve and can be explored through well signposted and marked nature trails.
The Baths of Aphrodite are where the roads from Polis and Latchi comes to an end, at the edge of the Akamas. The tourist pavillion clode by, built on a steep cliff serves food and overlooks spectacular sea views of crystal clear waters. The pebbled beach and the huge blocksof rocks on the sea bed render the sea ideal for underwater exploration and spotted semi-precious stones like agate, rose quartz, jasper, jade, adventurine and even small rounded and polished pieces of pumice stone if you are lucky.

The Paphos Town / Mesa Chorio area
Location
You have no doubt concluded by now that Paphos is a holiday destination unlike any other. There is something for everybody, so much so that visitors return year after year to take in all this magical island has to offer. Whether this is your very first visit tot he island or you have been coming to the island (as some of our guests have) for decades you will Apartment 209 in the Leda Heights Resort with more than live up to your expectations of everything a spectacular holiday Penthouse should be. Set in the hills surrounding the Paphos town, the apartment is set in a quite hillside location yet within easy reach of the hussle and bussle of the Kato (lower) Paphos area that thousands of tourists flock to all year round.
Paphos town itself is made up of two districts, the seafront area of Kato (lower) Paphos, buzzing with cafe's, restaurant and an active nightlife, situated along a picturesque harbour on a low lying plain. Supermarkets, shops like Debenhams, Peacocks and boutiques and the usual tourists shops mark the Pafos Harbour area out as a popular tourist destination from all across the island and from around the globe. Katima or the old Paphos Town or Pano Paphos retains its old world charm, with its small boutiques, pretty narrow lanes, tavernas and coffee shops and bakeries and its charming architecture. Regular guided walks in this part of town take place every Thursday morning (information and leaflet on this and other activities across the island can be found at the C209 Leda Heights Penthouse apartment, if you are interested in joinig the group.
A walk along the harbour areas of Paphos and Latchi remain two of the most memorable activities of our guests. However, it is the hilltop setting of this apartment, in the village of Meso Chorio that gives this apartment and resort its the impressive panoramic views over the Paphos area and the spectacular sunsets guests enjoy.
From this central location you also have easy access to some of the best beaches on the island. You also have easy access to Polis, Latchi, Akamas, Coral Bay area. Guests have also enjoyed and taken day trips to the Troodos and the Northern Cyprus to the harbour of Kyrenia and the historical Vouni.
Family Fun
Families can enjoy outings to the Water Park and aquarium, when they are not relaxing on the beach or sightseeing. Or, they can just relax around the pool area at Leda Heights and have a splash in the pool from time to time to cool down.
Evenings Out
There are many places a visitor can enjoy a great evening out. Cabarets, discos, restaurants & hotels with live Greek and pop music mean you have the option of enjoy singing and dancing into the early hours of the morning. Or you may want to just enjoy a quiet evening exploring the many romantic cafes and tavernas,within easy reach of Leda Heights or the ever popular Pafos harbour area.
Food & Drink
Guest have the option to self cater, and our kitchen at Leda Heights is well equipped for that purpose. Or you may want to dine out and sample all the delights the Cyprot cuisine has to offer. Try the local Mezzes - a collection of hot and cold appetisers served in small dishes. Try Kleftiko, a local dish of lamb cooked very slowly in sealed earthenware pots in the villages.
The quality of the wine and beer will leave you surprised. Cyprus boasts four big wineries: EKTO, KEO, LOEL and SODAP as well as well established smaller wineries at Chrysorrongiatissa Monastery, Arsos, Agios Amvrosios, Anogyra, Pelendri, Koilani, Kathikas, Pafos to mention just a few. Cyprus is dotted with wine producing vineyards. If you prefer beer you will not be disappointed as you can enjoy refreshing locally produced Carlsberg and KEO beer on hot sweltering days.
Golf
The Aphrodite Hills Resort, the Secret Valley and Minthis Hills Golf club at Tsada are all within easy reach of the apartment, 0-40 minutes drive away.
You can enjoy all Year Round Golf at Aphrodite Hills. The Aphrodite Hills Resort is home to a magnificent 18-hole championship golf course, spreading over 6,299 metres and overlooking the site where Aphrodite, the goddess of love, is said to have emerged from the sea (Petra tou Romiou). The golf course also has a dedicated 3-hole Golf Academy and magnificent Clubhouse. This award-winning golf course was officially opened in 2002 and was designed by the acclaimed architect, Cabell Robinson. Robinson believes Aphrodite Hills to be the perfect mix of challenging pot bunkers, manicured fairways of lush Bermuda grass and generous tiered greens. Visually spectacular, the course expands through indigenous olive and carob trees and is built on two plateaux separated by a dramatic ravine with outstanding views over the Mediterranean Sea. A 130 metre gorge dividing tees at the par 3, the 7th hole is the perfect opportunity to put your skills to the test.
Beginners and experienced players of all abilities are encouraged to learn and improve their game at the Aphrodite Hills 3-hole Golf Academy, where a team of resident PGA qualified golf professionals equipped with a 'full video swing analysis system' can provide the very best one-on-one tuition.
With a large, double-ended driving range, a short game area with a large pitching and chipping green and a 3-hole Academy course, Aphrodite Hills Golf provides the perfect environment for learning golf before progressing to the full course.
The Secret Valley Golf Club is another prestigious golf course located in the area of Petra tou Romiou, the birthplace of Aphrodite, 18km east of Paphos and 49km west of Limassol. Opened in 1996, the Secret Valley golf course, nestles in a scenic valley, surrounded by grand trees which add an aura of maturity to this fairly new golf course. The Sty Kingly rock formation offers panoramic views, giving golfers both the beauty of nature and the pleasure of golf. The golf course measures 5,904m and plays to a par 71, and players without a handicap certificate can play after noon on request, depending on availability. The facilities at the Secret Valley clubhouse in Cyprus offer a fully stocked pro shop, locker rooms, bar, a restaurant with verandas overlooking the golf course, putting greens, chipping areas, fairway bunkers, a large driving range, buggy rental, trolley rental (electrical and manual) and locker rental. Tuition is tailored to individual needs and can be conducted on a one-to-one or group basis.
Minthis Hills Golf Club, founded in 1994 on the hills of Tsada, set on the grounds of 12th century monastery, in a verdant valley. Created by Donald Steel and renovated by Mackenzie + Ebert in 2006/07. It plays to a par 71 and measures 5828 meters. Situated on the outskirts of Pafos, the altitude of 550 meters above sea level ensures cool breezes during the summer months. Directions: From Paphos you take the B7 direction Polis, at the village of Tsada you turn to the right into the village. Follow the E207 direction Kallepia until you find the signs towards the Golf Course, this is about 1 km from Tsada village. Turn to the right and at the end of this road you wil find the Minthis Hills Golf Club.

"Shashi, the apartment owner, has put in a huge amount of effort in researching and documenting a booklet to allow you to have a detailed knowledge of the area and attractions to visit during your stay in Leda Heights.
She is a wonderful family orientated lady who we found extremely helpful on a personal basis. She was always contactable for advice and suggestions when needed.
We found Shashi to be an excellent host. Leda Heights was a wonderfully spacious home from home environment. As soon as we walked through the door, tired and travel worn, we felt huge relief. Shashi has thought of everything in the apartment, from tasteful decor, high quality furniture and bedding to simple pleasures like hand soap!!
We holidayed as a family of 2 adults and 3 children.. 2 of which are teens.. Not the easiest to please, however the apartment and Shashi made sure they were catered for from the pool to the balcony sun loungers to the provision of DVDs for when it was just too hot to go outside!! The fly screens recently installed in the apartment are an absolute luxury and necessity.. They were certainly a God send for us.
There is plenty to do in Cyprus (see Shash's booklet in the apartment, she has everything listed!!) we found a car is a must.. Also provided by Shashi at a wonderfully affordable price. She also provided road maps so there was never any fear of us getting lost. This holiday was our first attempt at going solo.. i.e: away from travel agents and tour operators, and I must say Shashi gave us everything... We had the security of knowing there was someone to turn to if necessary but the freedom and cheap price of being solo.

The rental rates are quoted in GBP i.e £ (United Kingdom Pound or sterling). Payments are preferred by bank transfer to a UK bank in sterling and a Cyprus bank in Euros. If you have less than 2 weeks to the arrival date you have the option of paying in cash on arrival to avoid bank charges or currency transfers from outside the UK and Europe.
This larger than usual 2 bedroom 2 Bathrooms Penthouse apartment is also available for long term lets.
A £100 deposit is required to secure the booking, . This is non refundable in the event that you cancel the booking and an alternative booking cannot be found for any of the dates you selected.
The full balance or the final payment is due 12 weeks prior to your arrival date. A fully refundable £100 security deposit is collected with the final balance payment.
Your accommodation will be available from 4.00p.m. on the date of arrival and should be vacated by 12.00 midday on the day of departure. Local flexibility is available where possible, for no extra charge. Just let us know what you need.
A meet and greet service from Paphos International Airport and an supermarket shopping trip (where you arrival times allow it) for an extra charge can also be arranged.
If you are arriving at Larnaka International Airport check out airport transfers into Paphos International Airport and into Paphos town.
A welcome pack of groceries can also be provided from 25 Euros. Basic household supplies are provided on a complimentary basis for your use, which will save you over 25 Euros in shopping for necessities..
