The Paphos region


Paphos is situated on the South West coast of the island and according to legend the birth place of the Greek Goddess of Love Aphrodite and is a World Heritage site. The old town of Paphos (Pano Paphos) is slightly elevated with its quirky narrow streets and market from which there is a glorious view of the coastal tourist area known as Kato Paphos.
Kato Paphos is home to the old harbour, the Byzantine Castle, Tombs of the Kings, St Pauls Pillar to mention a few of the historical attractions as well as several restaurants, bars and clubs, beaches and the Aphrodite Water Park.

Paphos has a stunning amount of places to eat. No two nights out will ever be the same. Paphos has a water park which is ideal for the whole family and the area has a huge selection of water sports including jet skiing, parascending, scuba diving and fishing trips.
Many historical sites like Tombs of the Kings and the Mosaics at the harbour only minutes away.
Supermarkets are of a very high standard and stock everything you will need for an enjoyable holiday. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance but with an excellent bus service or hire car there are many more to explore across Paphos or even Cyprus. Perfect for a holiday which can give you everything.

We stayed in apartment E103 for a week in October, with two young children, and found the rooms to be of very high standard and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The weather was very hot considering the time of the year and there were lots to see and do for all ages of the family. The pool was a welcome restbite for the children to enjoy and cool off. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wanted to enjoy a late Summer/Autumn break whether to sightsee or just relax.

Hi David
We had a lovely holiday thanks – the weather was great, just the one day where there was quick shower. Apartment was great, lovely and clean and all the utensils/dishes etc I needed. Max and Rhian told us lots of useful info on our arrival. Girls enjoyed watching the family DVDs so it was very useful having those on tap.
Thanks again, it was lovely getting away from the grey and wet weather here over half term!

Holiday was great thanks...your apartment is spot on...couldnt ask for better, very clean, plenty big enough, good pool area etc. Extra books is a bonus as we both ran out on holiday! We left a pack of cards as there wasnt any...dont worry, we dont want re-inbursed!!! Taxi 30 euro's each way, perfect for getting to the apartment from the airport wen you've got no idea where your going, but found out the bus costs 1 euro no matter where your going, with an airport bus going down the kings road throughout the day.
Weather was stunning, 26-28oC the whole time, one day a bit cloudy. Harbour area nice & definately better going up to coral bay for the better beaches!!
