This is our well designed and appointed villa has a large swimming pool adjacent to the villa with its own shower and sun terraces. Off street private parking. Hello from Chris and Joy,We are both British and have just returned from working in Germany,we are well travelled and have learnt to appreciate different cultures.
Hotel based holidays are not always our cup of tea,we like to organise our day around our requirements and not someone else's domestic arrangements. Although we like to watch what's going on, we also want to escape the crowds.
Our main activities are walking,scuba diving,sailing cycling,dining ,and we are always fascinated by local flora and fauna.I am a keen fisherman and photographer,Joy is keen on keep fit ,reading and shopping(often for shoes!)
Please note we can organise guided fishing trips- all tackle, bait and permits included.
Cyprus is really good to explore either by foot or by bike. The villa has cycling and walking maps available but if you want help or suggestions please ask.
The Paphos region
Tremithousa is simply the ideal place to enjoy the best of both worlds – a contemporary Mediterranean lifestyle on rolling Mediterranean hillsides, whilst at the same time remaining within an easy 5-minute drive from the amenities, services and shops of Paphos town. Receiving an average annual rainfall of about 520 mms; vines of winemaking varieties, vegetables, cereals, forage plants, citrus, almond, and walnut trees, and legumes are cultivated in the region. The village has a reputation for the aromatic and tasty honey that it produces.
Tremithousa connects in the north to the monastery of Agios Neofytos and the charming fishing villages of Polis and Laatchi. To the northeast, the land rises through vineyards and the Paphos Forest to Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountains. The Akamas Peninsula lies to the north west of Paphos and is a unique area. Relatively large and unspoilt, it possesses remarkably diverse features in vegetation, wildlife, geology, beautiful landscapes and coasts, and with a rich historical and cultural heritage.
Once the capital of Cyprus under the Romans, Paphos is one of the most attractive and contrasting areas in Cyprus. The old town of Paphos remains typically Cypriot with winding streets lined with restaurants, open-air cafes and ancient churches. The lower and newer part of town is known as Kato Paphos and is more of a tourist area. Here you will find an endless choice of restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and a quaint little harbour offering excellent fish taverns overlooked by Paphos castle.
Interesting sites are The House of the Mosaics where amazing mosaics have been beautifully preserved for 16 centuries in the house of Dionysus, and The Tombs of the Kings where a wide area of underground tombs has been carved out of solid rock to create burial chambers for ancient nobles.
There are a number of lovely beaches within easy reach. Coral Beach, for example, is considered the most attractive, being sandy and having shallow waters. Sun-beds and umbrellas are available for rent at the Coral beach. Beaches and facilities in front of hotels are available to the public.

"Great retreat for holiday"
The villa was very comfortable and really well equippped with everything you would expect to find at home. We had internet access which was really useful and came within the rental price. The house has so many different areas to use and sit - loved the rooftop for relaxing in the evening as well as the day.
John (the management guy) was really helpful and came out to rescue us when we accidently locked ourselves out one day! In fact, nothing was too much trouble for him.
It was a good place to stay to visit lots of places - Pafos, Polis, Pissouri. We also managed to get to Limassol for a day out. The open top red bus trip is a definite must and we picked up the details of this in the information the owners provide.
Definitely a place to relax in, chill and not have to worry about anything.

Location was ideal with car hire as paphos town and other areas was within easy reach.
Affordable stay in peak season. However was very disapointed with how clean the villa was when we arrived,it had been tidied rather than cleaned before our stay, after 1 week we had a change of linen but still no clean. Glass windows were filthy, bathroom had not been cleaned and still had hair in the plug hole, floor had not been hoovered and moped throughout the villa.
Also very uncomfortable to sleep as the bedroom air cons was hopeless just moving the hot air around the room. Real shame!!
This is the first time these issues have been brought to our attention and would seem to be a one off.
I don't see the value of a client sending in a review in November for a holiday in July it misses the point.
As we do not live in Cyprus the only people who visit our property are our management staff ,who clean and maintain the place,and the clients.
It is selfish if clients do not immediately tell us or our management team that there are issues,if we are not aware we can't rectify,these issues then become a problem for the next holiday maker!
Problems like aircon not working or poor cleanliness need to be rectified at the start of the holiday.
We will be looking at improved ways of monitoring the performance of our management people but we will still ask clients to input their views as soon as possible.
In other words we can't improve if we don't get constructive suggestions within a reasonable time frame
