Lenia Court is stylishly furnished two bedroom penthouse apartment on a brand new family friendly complex in the heart of the pretty and traditional village of Kissonerga.This two bedroom, two bathroom air conditioned apartment enjoys a top floor position and has the added outdoor space of a very large private roof terrace through which guests have private access to the communal roof top swimming pool and BBQ area.
The large open plan lounge with the kitchen and dining area at one end of it has two very comfortable cream leather sofas, one of which converts into a good quality sofa bed, satellite TV and DVD for guests to relax and unwind or you can just enjoy the wonderful views from the private balcony terrace.
The fully equipped kitchen, with modern electrical appliances has everything you will need and meals can be enjoyed alfresco on the very large roof top terrace, or in the dining area which seats six.
Both bedrooms have black out blinds and air conditioning with cool and heat options. The large master bedroom has a large double bed with ample wardrobe storage and en suite bathroom with basin, WC and shower. The second bedroom with twin beds also has excellent wardrobe storage. The modern family bathroom has a bath with shower, basin and WC.
The huge private roof terrace has a comfortable outdoor rattan sofa set, and a full patio table and chairs set for guests to be able to enjoy alfresco dining. There are sun loungers for guests to relax and enjoy the sunshine and wonderful village location.
Kissonerga village is a few kilometres outside of central tourist Paphos and at the heart of the village with its pretty stone church there is a good selection of supermarkets, tavernas, bars and coffee shops.
This apartment is ideal for couples or families looking for a relaxing away from all location with excellent village facilities within easy reach of two blue flag beaches which includes the famous Coral Bay Beach and central Paphos.
Paphos area offers visitors a great choice of things to do and see whether you are interested in relaxing on a beach, visiting sites of historical interest, or spending the day at one of the water parks, Paphos has it all.

With an average of ten months of sunshine each year Paphos is a very popular holiday destination with visitors from across Europe.
Paphos is most established holiday resort in Southern Cyprus and among its attractions are its ancient mosaic floors, historical sites, a beautiful old harbour, its modern hotels and restaurants, situated along the harbour front promenade. Other sights include an archaeological museum, the Byzantine castle of Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paulas Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite (the goddess of love and beauty).
The climate of Cyprus makes the summer months a popular time for tourism in Paphos, when temperatures are mid 30s degrees Celsius every day. However the cooler winter months attract keen walkers, mountain biking enthusiasts and skiers to the Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsular areas.
Paphos offers shopping in the tourist beach promenade and the old town area of Kato Paphos has a wonderful old covered market area to browse around.
In addition to the wonderful choice of beaches and all year sunshine Paphos offers families a fantastic choice of modern or traditional restaurants, and visitor attractions for all interests and age groups. You can do as much as little as you like and if you like to be active you can visit a choice of blue flag beaches, explore, the water park, bird and reptile parks, Aquarium, ten pin bowling, Diving and horse riding and there is a choice of three Golf courses within half an hours drive.
Cyprus extends a warm and friendly welcome to visitors and you drive on the same side of the road as the UK and it is easy to navigate your way around the island.
The Paphos Town / Kissonerga area
Kissonerga is a pretty and traditional village located between the central tourist area of Paphos and Coral Bay. The village has a very traditional look and feel and the main street of the village is lined with a good selection of grocery shops, convenience store kiosks, pharmacy and a good choice of traditional tavernas all within walking distance. Kissonerga is ideally located for visitors who want to experience living in a traditional village but also want to be close to the beach and the tourist attractions and entertainment offered by central Paphos and Coral Bay.

On the whole the appartment was very comfortable. The living and kitchen area but the main bedroom let the place down. We had no aircon in there and, although management staff attended very promptly to check it out, it could not be mended. We were provided with a fan which made no difference at all. The temperatures barely dropped below 28 degrees celsius at night so it was very uncomfortable. Also there was no wardrobe in the room, only shelving, so we had to hang clothes on the handles of the cupboards. The bathroom was very basic. The shower curtain fell about 4inches short of the floor so the first time we showered we flooded the bathroom floor. After that, we could only use the shower at a trickle. There were no spare toilet roll or kitchen roll so we had to buy our own. Just all a bit basic. The pool area was nice although greatly monopolised by ex-pats who are resident in the appartment block. At times, we felt like we were imposing. In general, pleasant enough but wouldn't go back. Response: I am so sorry that you were disappointed in your stay at our apartment. I appreciate your annoyance that the air conditioning unit in the bedroom broke down during your stay, however you do acknowledge that the problem was responded to promptly and a fan provided until the unit could be repaired – which it was by the second day. As the problem was resolved as quickly as possible, and you had an alternative bedroom to use, I believe everything possible was done to help you as soon as the problem arose. Regarding your comment about there only being shelving in the main bedroom wardrobe, as this is a large spacious area with ample capacity for clothes, as well as there being a large wardrobe with hanging space and shelving in the second bedroom, I am unsure as to why you feel this was such a problem for the two of you. Yes, the shower curtain does not reach the floor but this is meant to fit inside the shower unit in order to keep the water contained withinin the shower tray and therefore the length is correct. I am sorry you were confused on this and am sure our manager would have helped you on this if you had mentioned it to her. The bathroom is fully tiled and fitted with high quality bathroom fittings, therefore I am sorry it did not reach your expectations. Please accept our sincere apologies that there was an oversight by our manager in ensuring kitchen rolls and toilet rolls were provided during your stay. As you were in contact with her due to the problem with the air conditioning unit, if you had pointed this out to her or contacted her on the phone number provided, I am confident it would have been immediately rectified. Your comment about the attitude of the residents is really surprising as one of the consistent comments we receive from our guests after their stay is how friendly and helpful the other apartment owners are. As they are a mix of Cypriot, Finnish and English owners, plus other holidaymakers, they would be mortified to think they had made you feel uncomfortable in the way you describe. Thank you for your feedback and again would express my disappointment that you did not enjoy your stay. I hope you have more success in choosing your next holiday accommodation. |

We hired a car, allowing us the freedom to explore the island. The large sun deck was ideal for those wanting sun and shade. Plenty of space for all. Good location, close to beaches and countryside. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. |

The apartment was all we'd wished for and a lot more besides.Spotlessly clean it was obviously very well looked after. The inside was really comfortable and the terrace was amazing, so big and got the sun all day. It also had a private access to the rooftop swimming pool which looked over the sea.Really good village with tavernas, restaurants and shops in the village and also within short distance. Its best to have a car to make the best use of the location, as its also close to Coral Bay for its great beach, bars and restaurants, and the Arkamas area to get away from it all if you want. Will definitely come back here again. |
Guestbook for Apartment Lenia Court
Apartment Lenia was lovely, very clean, and in a quiet area. Presented exactly as shown on website photos and filled with light. Equipped with all the basics for cooking etc., Bedrooms were very spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space. The huge balcony, leading through to swimming pool, was a big bonus.
It afforded a good degree of privacy, with nice views, and was great for sunbathing, reading in the shade of the umbrella or relaxing on the outdoor sofa under the stars at night. The sofa and chairs added a real touch of luxury. Use of the air-conditioned lift made it easy to transport shopping, suitcases etc.

We have really enjoyed our holiday in Cyprus and being based at Lenia Court in Kissonerga was excellent. The apartment was absolutely first class especially for us having 3 young children. They could go to the pool quickly or enjoy the large terasse area. When we arrived, the apartment was very clean and it has all the facilities that you need.
We used the bus service in our first week to go to Paphos (about 15 / 20 minutes) bus stop just down the hill. If you want to see a bit more of Cyprus but, you really need a car. We hired one the second week (count around €20/25 per day) and were only 5 minutes away from Coral beach.
We were certainly impressed with our accommodation and would recommend it to anyone as a perfect base to visit Western Cyprus.
I don't know when we will be able to holiday in Cyprus again but we certainly will be contacting you again.

Coral Bay beach is only a 10-minute drive away and the harbour area an easy 20-minute drive. Although a car is needed to make the most of a visit, there were local shops in easy walking distance and I would highly recommend this apartment - having stayed in many around the Paphos area.
