This luxury 1 bedroom apartment has been tastefully fully furnished with top quality furniture and equipment including a double bedroom, living room with sofa beds, linen and towels. This spacious 1 bedroom apartment located on the 1st floor with an external balcony offers excellent views of the Rhodope mountains and can comfortably sleep 5 people.
There are a whole range of on-site facilities including - Shared Swimming pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Solarium, Massage room, beauty shop, Gym, Ski Lockers, Restaurant and Bar, Laundry & Drying Room, Internet Club and parking facilities.
The apartment complex is ideally situated just a short walk from the ski lifts and Pamprovo centre where one can enjoy the excellent après ski restaurants and bars.The complex is situated only 300 metres from the ski lifts and transport to the ski station is free. All ski equipment can be stored over night at the ski station ready for your use the following day.
The town of Pamporovo and the shops are a few minutes walk away where you will find supermarkets, restaurants and cashpoints.
The famous Bachkovo Monastry is well worth a visit and with organized transport is an hours drive away.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Pamporovo is a modern ski resort in the heart of the Rhodopi mountains. It is the most southern skiing resort in Europe and the sunniest Bulgarian mountain resort. It has wonderful snow throughout the whole season (18/12 - 07/04).
I would recommend a day trip to Plovdiv or the nearby town of Smolyan, 15 km away which is a small and picturesque town in the heart of the Rhodope mountains. This magnificent town enchants visitors because of its old and modern architecture.
An excursion to the second largest Monastery in Bulgaria, the Bachkovo monastery is of great interest. Also the picturesque town of Chepelare, 10km away and is the highest town.
Pamporovo area
Skiing in Bulgaria is very cheap compared to other countries and Pamporovo is idea for beginners and experienced skiers and is child friendly too. There are 17.5km of Alpine ski runs with different degrees of difficulty, 3 cross country runs, 34 ski runs for long nordic skiing, equipped with 5 different seat chair lifts and 13 ski drags.
It has a total capacity of 8,500 people per hour. The skikinder garden is open all day. The ski equipment is modern and there are experienced English speaking instructors should you need them. Altitude at the resort is 1650m and the highest point is Snejanka 1926m. The mountain rescue service works 24 hours for your security.
Pamporovo offers good snowboarding and tuition.
There are different types of restaurants and places to eat in the resort and near the piste. We would recommend 3 restaurants/places to eat in Pamporovo: - The White Hart: probably the best place to eat in the resort. Just like Mama makes! From the simple “comfort” food – bangers ‘n’ mash, Pub Grub, through to T-Bone steaks! There is a great selection of Pizza & Pasta plus lots for the Vegetarian. - Chevermeto: the oldest restaurant in the resorts. Offers typical Bulgarian cuisine from the region of Rhodopi mountain, and especially lamb. - The White House: Bulgarian cuisine and some popular International meals. Stylish restaurant. The selection of food and wines is very good.
How to get there
The main airport is Sofia and is 240km away. Plovdiv airport is open from 1st Aug 2009 and is 60km away from the apartment
You can fly from most UK airports to Sofia and Plovdiv. The main airlines include Easy jet, British Airways,Wizz Air and Bulgaria air. Ryan air are expected to announce a new scheduled flight to Plovdiv in 2009.
Transfers from the airports are easy and regular. A taxi, mini bus or coach can bring you from the airport to the apartment. If you need help with arranging this please ask.

Winter duvets/ linen/ towels are provided. ~The lounge has a double sofa bed and a large armchair bed. ~Off the lounge there is a balcony. ~Rentals are per week in sterling. We do offer shorter stays with a minimum of 3 nights. Longer stays on request.
Further details outdoors: This apartment is on the ground floor although there are lifts in the building. Reception is close by for any information during the day and there is 24 hour security. There is an intercom system for this apartment. All areas are well lit and grounds maintained for your safety.
The apartment has beautiful views of the forests and there are lots of scenic walks to take around the area. The complex offers an indoor heated pool, gym, jacuzzi,steam rooms,sauna,restaurant,bar, ski locker rooms and internet access. A beauty shop and masseur are on site.

On the complex there is a very knowledgeable young man who is the complex manager. His name is Slavi and he speaks very good English and is very helpful.
He can help with transport needs or any query that you may have with the apartment or complex. He will be available during the day.
Conditions
A non - refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking (full payment required if less than 1 month). A further £50 with the balance will be required for breakage/damage which will be returned after the apartment has been checked. The balance will be required 1 month prior to your arrival. Payments to be made by bank transfer or sterling cheque and account details will be supplied on confirmation of booking. Minimum stay 3 nights.
