The Chalet is situated in the Forest Nook Resort of Pamporovo. It is a beautifully finished 2 bed Chalet sleeping up to 6 adults.

It comprises 2 floors, bedrooms upstairs and lounge and ioe plan kitchen downstairs. The Forest Nook resort has excellent location to the ski lifts and a transfer service runs in the high season.

The property is perfect for a small group on a skiing/ snowboarding or a relaxing/ activity based Summer mountain holiday.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

The Pirin Mountain range is the second biggest in Bulgaria, after Bansko. The area is mainly known for its Winter ski season but is equally impressive in Summer, due to the spectacular scenery and crisp mountain air.

The area boasts impressive wildlife, alp like meadows, miles of spruce forest and a rich history (if this interests you!) You can choose to visit the many lakes, rivers and waterfalls.

Pamporovo / Forest Nook area

The ski areas at Pamporovo are the second biggest in Bulgaria. Forest Nook is a modern ski resort and sits at an altitude of 1650m. Pamporovo is a typical resort town and is well known for its good snowfall and ideal surroundings.

Its suits Skiiers/ snowboarders of all levels, and is particularly good for beginners due to the rounded hill formations and reasonably priced ski lessons and equipment hire. Ski pass prices are quite modest. There are black and red runs for the more advanced (including international slalom course), 26km of pistes all in all.

Due to its location quite far south the area enjoys longer, mostly bright, crisp days, the winter average temp being -3. The miles of mountains and forests is why the area is noted for it picturesqueness. There are plenty of well priced restaurants around, and at the end of a day on the slopes many bars for skiing. The town of Smolyan is a short cab drive away with its many bars and clubs if this doesn't satisfy your night life. The resort has a bar and a good restaurant too.

The other side of the area is the Summer season, perfect for both relaxing and those seeking a activity holday. Spend your day exploring the miles of forest and green meadows and the many lakes, streams and rivers. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, canoeing and motorised off road activities like quad biking.

The resort has an activities centre too. Places of interest are the caves in the area, waterfalls, canyon and a natural spa. If you plan to view a big deal of the area car hire is recommended. The forests are resident to bears but you are quite unlikely to see one! After a days activities you can relax or go sample the night life.

To Sofia, most main carriers including easyjet. Resort is 3 hour transfer from there

To Plodiv (in winter months) charter airlines. Resort is 1 hour transfer from there.
