Perelik Palace is a skiing dream come true. Located near the traditional Rhodopean village of Stoykite, it is surrounded by beautiful lush pine forests and green meadows, and yet it is only 100 metres away from the new six-man chairlift and a new 7.5 kilometre piste which runs from the very top and at the very heart of the Pamporovo ski slopes. The views from the complex are nothing short of spectacular - looking south across the Rhodope mountains towards Greece and the Aegean Sea. You can consider a holiday in Pamporovo at any time of the year as there is always something to offer. Winter is obviously the time to come for the fantastic winter sports on offer, whereas spring, summer and autumn provides beautiful weather and fantastic hiking, walking and trekking possibilities and of course use of the luxury Spa facilities.
Apartment has three bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom) and mountain views. There is a large balcony with a table and four chairs to enjoy the amazing mountain views.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
The Rhodope mountains are both beautiful and mystical, and lie just north of the border with Greece. They are host to many species of flora and fauna and are largely unspoilt and very tranquil. The winter and summer weather is exceptional with good winter snowfall and long periods of beautiful winter sunshine. In the summer the climate is Mediterranean in nature with an excellent sun record. You can expect to enjoy hot summer days and cool evenings. There are many tourist attractions and great summer and winter sports pursuits for the adventureful traveller.
Pamporovo / Stoikite area
The pamporovo areas boasts beautiful wooded mountains and valleys with lovely tree lined pistes. Pamporovo Ski resort is being developed into a super-resort with many new runs and lifts which will eventually make it one of the best ski locations in Eastern Europe. The Skiing is excellent for beginners, novices and intermediates, but there are also excellent serious black runs as well as some great off-piste adventures.
Stoikite is a traditional Bulgarian mountain village with local shops and services (1 Km). Pamporovo (6Km) is a lively alpine flavoured ski resort with many good restaurants and bars and hotels and has good entertainment and apre-ski offerings.
Smolyan (7Km) is the nearest large regional town with excellent amenities and good shopping. Prices in Bulgaria are still very good value and you can expect prices to be about half of that you may experience in typical French or Austrian resorts (goods, services and food). This also applies to ski lift passes, ski equipment hire, and ski tuition. WizzAir fly from Luton. Easyjet and Bulgaria-Air fly from Gatwick. Bulgaria-Air also fly from Manchester, and British Airways Fly from Heathrow.
During 2008 /9 we expect RyanAir to announce a new scheduled flight to Plovdiv.
It is also possible to book on charter airlines (Winter flights to Sofia and Plovdiv from Bristol/ East Midlands/ Humberside/ Manchester/ Edinburgh/ Belfast/ Newcastle/ Luton/ Gatwick/ Heathrow/ Dublin/ Cork/ Shannon)
Transfers from the Airports: - There are regular coach transfers from Sofia, and very affordable and bookable car and mini-bus transfers from Sofia and Plovdiv up to Pamporovo. - Perelik Palace will provide private transfers on request, or car hire.
It is also possible to hire cars and mini-buses from either Plovdiv or Sofia Airports.
There is also a regular public transport bus service from Sofia to Pamporovo. By car it is about 3 hours from Sofia to Pamporovo, and about 1.5 hours from Plovdiv Airport to Pamporovo.
