The house is very well situated for a choice of good, sandy beaches and for a wide range of activities and excursions. The house is equally well suited to golfers requiring a choice of excellent courses all within a very short distance, to families, small parties or couples looking for a base for activity holidays.
There is very easy access to the main roads and to a good range of shops and restaurants, some of which are in walking distance. The house has been newly improved and furnished. The grounds were totally renovated and lanscaped in 2006.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
Platja de Pals (3 km from house) - long sandy beach accessible in different places. Good for children. Pedaloes, windsurfing. Numerous small sandy coves within 10 minutes drive; fishing towns with good beaches eg L'Escala and Palamos - 15 minutes; lively resorts with large sandy beaches eg Platja d'Aro - 20 minutes.
Pals / Massos de Pals area
Golf The house is within 5 minutes drive of all three golf clubs, offering four 18 hole PGA championship courses in the 'Golden Triangle of Golf' - Golf Platja de Pals, Golf Serres de Pals and Golf Empordà. The popular Par 3, Golf Pitch & Putt de Gualta is also within 5km. The house overlooks Golf Serres de Pals, with Golf Empordà in the distance. All the courses have golf schools, with tuition available in several languages. Within 20/25 minutes drive: Golf d’Aro (Mas Nou), Club de Golf Costa Brava (Santa Cristina d’Aro), PGA Golf de Catalunya, Golf Girona. 30-40 minutes: Golf Perelada, TorreMirona Golf Club.
Skiing: Vallter 2000 is within an easy 2 hours drive on good roads; La Molina and Vall de Núria are also about 2 hours; Andorra 3 hours.
Good range of local shops available, in walking and short driving distance. Take-away food available from 0.25km. Good range of banks / cashpoints in local towns and at local shops. Restaurants - excellent range within short distance, from Michelin quoted restaurant to inexpensive beachside restaurants.
