Palma area
Palma is the capital of the Balearics. You can visit the historic Bellver Castle, dating back to 14th century and the second largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, Old Town of the city with its amazing "patios", antique cafés,galeries,museums. The harbour city stretches around the bay, with its lovely promenade ‘Paseo Maritimo’, where you can walk, bike, skate or simply relax in one of the many café terraces watching the busy harbour life.
How to get there
Palma Airport is a 10 minute drive in car. Taxi will cost around 18 euros (dependant on passengers and luggage) from airport. A local bus service is also available (4 buses an hour, from airport to Palma Old Town).
