The Mallorca/Majorca region
Majorca is a beautiful island in the Med. You can hire a car to see the island or just relax on the beach nearby.
In the city centre there is a beautiful cathedral to see, and plenty of shops and shopping centres. There is a tourist bus which visits the historic parts of the city. It you hire a car I recommend you to visit Valldemosa and a virgin beach called Es Trenc. There are plenty of ports all round the Island which you can visit. Palma / Can Pastilla area
Plenty of Spanish and British bars. Beaches, Aquarium, beautiful walk paths beside the coast, bycicles to hire, mini train .You can walk or cycle from Arenal to Palma which is about a 3 hour walk. You can visit Ibiza or Minorca by ferry for the day. In Can Pastilla there is a fruit and veg. market every Tuesday and Thursday. There are supermarkets and plenty of shops to visit.
How to get there
By air to Palma airport, Easyjet,Ryanair, first choice, and lots of other airlines fly to Palma airport. You can get a ferry from Barcelona, or Denia if you travelling by car.
You can hire a car at Palma airport if necessary, Hertz,Hiper, Hasso are just some of the rent a cars.
