"Perfect apartment and location"
We have just enjoyed a wonder extended weekend with our darling family in this fantastic apartment which is equipped with absolutely everything on could want - all the kitchen equipment; superb bathrooms; Internet connection; sky tv; ideal location near to all the shops, restaurants, sea etc., yet in a beautifully quiet street close to the cathedral. The apartment really has the "wow" factor the moment you walk in the door and the roof terrace with sunlounges, shower, BBQ, table chairs is magnificent plus there is a great "dumb waiter" by which all ones food, drinks, books etc., can be transported from the kitchen to the roof terrace and visa versa!! Highly recommended and we can't wait to return. Our thanks also to Sabina for all all her assistance and kindness plus the wealth of her information. A most perfect apartment.

"The writing was on the wall before I even booked"
The writing was on the wall before I even booked the apartment. The owner took 5 days to reply to my initial enquiry and then several days to reply to any questions I had.
His replies were rude and obnoxious, stating that he was on holiday and then that he was too busy with work to reply to me.
I hoped this was just a temporary thing and booked the apartment but the lack of information I got was driving me mad. When I asked if he would kindly supply me with the address so I could look up the location on the internet, I was told, “I've already given you this!”-he hadn't!
When we got there, it was clear that the apartment was no longer owned by the person mentioned on the previous Trip Advisor reviews and it was now owned by someone who didn't care about his guests.
4 bulbs in the main bedroom had blown and the 1st thing I had to do on my holiday was change these bulbs as the bedroom was very dark. I had to search everywhere and eventually found only 3 bulbs.
The fridge had several items of someone else's used food in there (not nice!) including some smelly Brie cheese that had gone off a few weeks ago!
The freezer was almost full of used food.
The information I was sent stated there were 2 sets of keys. There was only 1 set. This caused us considerable disruption as my friend and I often did separate things during the day and as a result of the lack of keys we had to arrange to meet up to exchange the 1 set of keys we had. In the evenings we also had to ensure that we both went back to the apartment at the same time-which again was not always convenient.
The reviews on Trip Advisor mentioned about a parking space and 4 bicycles left for guests. These are no longer offered but the owner hasn't bothered to contact Trip Advisor to add an 'owner's comment' to this effect and I'm sure several people will assume that the parking space and bikes are still there for guests use.
The door at the top of the very steep stairs to the roof terrace was very, very hard to lock and unlock.
The number of cupboards with 'private' signs on was ridiculous. I counted and photographed 6 throughout the apartment. I've never experienced an owner to have so many of their own items left in an apartment or house that is being rented out to paying guests. It wasn't nice having someone else's clothes in 1 wardrobe and someone's toiletries taking up 1 of the bathroom drawers.
It's also not a nice feeling that the owner keeps all the best glasses and crockery etc. in cupboards marked 'private' for themselves and just provides cheap Ikea items for the guests. That doesn't send a very good message as to what the owner thinks of their guests.
To top it off, there was nothing to make coffee in. No cafetiere or anything similar, no nice espresso machine just a coffee machine for coffee pods which of course were not provided. I'd brought fresh ground coffee and had to buy a cafetiere from a local shop.
In the information provided it states there are beach towels left in the master bedroom. There wasn't any and this was very inconvenient. We would have brought our own if the information had not stated there were some in the apartment. What where we supposed to use on the sun loungers?
The information sheet said that there are more sheets and bedding left in the apartment. Again there wasn't. It was quite hot at night and it would have been more comfortable to have just a sheet on the beds instead of the duvet provided. It's usual practice in southern Europe to have just a top sheet on the bed with a duvet or blanket in a cupboard.
Free Wi-Fi is great-1 of the reasons I booked the apartment but I do not find it acceptable having an unsecured Wi-Fi network. I have never experienced this before in a rental property. Why not just set it up with an access code and leave the code in the apartment for guests!
The 3 Euro 'table top' Ikea ironing board was a very cheap idea. It doesn't cost much to provide your guests with a proper ironing board that would fit in the cupboard. Again, neither of us have ever experienced something so cheap and basic.
There was a really nice Bose ipod dock but no power cable for it so we couldn't use it.
There was no iron but luckily we managed to get the cleaner to bring us one the following day.
Amazingly there was no microwave oven! Again neither of us has ever stayed in a rental house or apartment that does not have this simple but essential item.
I emailed the owner with most of these concerns on our 2nd day at the apartment. He didn't reply.
I emailed him all the above when I got home and said I was about to submit a review to Trip Advisor. The owner did reply then with a complete change in attitude and said that he was a new owner and that he hoped to make the apartment better for future guests. I emailed back that it's a shame it hadn't been right for our stay and asked him to refund some of the 1050 Euros we paid. True to form he hasn't replied and 8 days have now passed.
Nice apartment but with lots of things wrong and dreadful service. There's far better places to stay at 210 Euro's a night.

"Just so perfect!!"
From the beginning , the owner of this apartment was very friendly, polite, clearly answered all the question we asked.
The apartment was located right centre of the Old town surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants, very easy access to go anywhere, with beautiful very clean 3 bed rooms with a huge modern living room and kitchen, but the best part was the roof terrace, the view was just superb , especially the view of Cathedral.
The only negative part of this vacation is that... 3 nights in Mallorca was too short,. We would definitely like to go back , and stay here longer.

"Fantastic apartment and lovely welcoming"
The apartment has a great location in the centre of the old town of Palma. It is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. The terrace is wonderful with a great view over Palma. And Meryl, the owner is so helpful and positive. Everything is perfect!

"Like having the best room in a five star hotel!"
We actually went with another couple so used two out of the three bedrooms, but there was masses of space - and thank heavens for the efficient air conditioning throughout! The location is absolutely beautiful and the amenities are fantastic - everything has been thought of - including great showers. The owners provide a wealth of information, ideas and tips. One tip I would endorse, however, is don't get a car bigger than a mini! The parking facility is great, but the streets of old Palma are very, very narrow and you will almost certainly need to reverse out of the garage. Please feel free to ask any questions.

"Fantastic apartment in Palma"
Fantastic penthouse apartment in the old town right next to the cathederal. The apartment has its own large rooftop terrace, garage and even four bicycles. The apartment is beautifully presented and the accommodation overall is ideal for a short or long break. Palma is on your doorstep and you could not be better located.
