I just wanted to thank you so much for the use of your lovely appartment in Portixol.
The appartment is amazing and provided us with an ideal base from which to walk into Palma and to explore the surrounding areas.
We absolutely loved Portixol and it was great to be able to speak Spanish after a number of years. I will definitely have to brush up my skills a bit!!
The appartment was ideal for the 4 of us and we were able to sit on the Terrace and chill out, even in October.
Thank you very much once again; its a lovely place. I am sure we will be back.

If you visit this part of Mallorca you will not see anything reminiscent of the stereotypical images of Mallorca such as packed beaches and English fry ups...! Palma City is a cultural, cosmopolitan City with so much to offer. If you do want to explore the island, this is easy to do by car or public transport which is clean and efficient. If you hire a car, nowhere is far to get to get to...visit beautiful Deia and Soller or the wonderful beach at Formentor. There is so much to see....
The Palma / Portixol area
Staying on the frontline in Portixol means you can enjoy the outdoor life - being close to the beach and the sea. There are many restaurants both local and international on the doorstep and well as the local fishing harbours of portixol and molinar. The Hotel Portixol is close by, a well-known boutique hotel and Portixol harbour offers more exclusive eateries and a trendy beach club. Palma Old Town is only a 5 minute taxi/bus ride or a 20 minute walk away and offers stunning architecture, culture and places to eat and drink. Staying in Portixol allows you to combine the relaxation of a beach holiday with the buzz of a city break. Small pretty beach directly opposite. Larger beach and children's play area 4 minutes walk away.
Cycle and rollerblading track run along the shore line of Palma, these activities are extremely popular.
