Palma Nova is a popular holiday resort with 3 lovely sandy beaches and loads to do. It is also an excellent base from which to explore the whole island of Mallorca. Palma, the capital city, is within a short drive and served by several and frequent bus services from Palma Nova.
The Palma Nova area
By road, there is nearby access to motorway links to Palma and beyond as well as to other nearby resorts and towns. The island can be crossed from north to south within 2 hours by car.
The north coast offers spectacular mountain scenery and there are designated footpaths throughout the island for hill walkers. Road cycling is particularly popular for the adventurous.
A multitude of beaches and coves are easily accessed throughout the island.
