The penthouse is the only apartment on the roof of Edificio Olivia.
The terrace is 120m2 with outstanding sea views over Palma bay.
Inside, the spacious 80m2 living area is divided into 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ( 1 en-suite ), fully fitted kitchen, laundry room and a large lounge with a dining area.
We have installed air conditioning in the lounge and principal bedroom.
In May 2014 we installed double glazing in all rooms. The new windows have a heat reduction system so the apartment will be cooler in the summer months.
The double bedroom has a floor fan and the small bedroom a ceiling fan.
The terrace was re-tiled in spring 2013 with terracotta tiles and new terrace furniture was installed in September 2013.
In September 2013 a new viscoelastic king size bed was put in the double bedroom, a new double bed size viscoelastic bed was put in the principal bedroom and 2 new vicoelastic beds put in the small bedroom.
In April 2015 we changed the lounge and dining room furniture.
There is a new 32" TV.
No Sky, but there are channels in English (BBC) as well as French, German and Spanish.
The sound is dual, which means that when there is a film or series on Spanish TV, which is every night, the sound is in the original format i.e. if the film is English, so is the sound, if in German the sound is in German etc. The same applies to teleseries, cartoon channels etc.
The 120m2 terrace has outstanding sea views of Palma Bay.
In September 2013 we put in a new outdoor dining table with 6 chairs and 4 new sun beds so you can enjoy all meals with fabulous views and a cool breeze.
It is perfect for families or golf parties.
Please note that Edificio Olivia is a residential building and as such there are regulations against excessive noise between midnight and 8am.
Most of the residents live and work year round on the island, so please if you want all night parties look for apartments in other areas.

Son Calíu is a quiet semi residential area.
The hotels in the area are all 4*, with no late outdoor shows, which means that Mum and Dad can sleep while the younger members of the family are at the disco or enjoying the Magalluf nightlife.
There is a supermarket in front of the apartment and a bus stop 50 yards away, with a regular bus service to Palma, Magalluf and Santa Ponsa.
In the block behind the swimming pool there are various restaurants and bars
There are a variety of shops on the ground floor, including a video rental shop.
There are 2 small beaches within 50 yards of the apartment. An almost unknown beach, Punta Negra, is 5 mins walk.
Palma Nova, the popular tourist town with it´s long beach and large selection of shops, restaurants and bars and is a pleasant 10 min. walk. Together with Magaluff it has many tourst attractions, and boasts of a varied nightlife with plenty of show bars and discos.
The Portals Nous beach, popular with the locals, is about 15mins. walk.
Marineland, very popular with the younger family members, is a 10 min walk.
Teenagers can be in the centre of Magalluf in 10 minutes, were discotecs and bars, open to the early hours, are plentiful.
For the younger, and not so young, I recommend he new attraction in Magalluf, The House of Katmandu.
The area is a golfers´ paradise. Bendinat, Santa Ponsa 1 and Santa Ponsa 2 are within a 10 minute drive.
Portals Nous tennis club is a 10 min. walk.

Hi, Thanks. Very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The pool is community property, and, yes there aren`t any loungers or chairs. However there are 2 small folding plastic chairs on our terrace which you can take to the pool, or the beach if you want.

I can confirm that all the bedrooms have new viscoelastic beds. There`s a king size, matrimonial and 2 single beds.

"Very spacious apartment with fantastic views."
We found this to be an ideal apartment for a group of friends taking a get away or a large family. The rooms were spacious and the outside roof top space was amazing. We found all the facilities in the apartment were ample. However, we did find the outside seating furnishing were very tired and could do with replacing. The views from the bedrooms were fantastic however, the small, twin room is only suitable for children and is also within the sound of the lift on the other side of the wall.
I agree. We have put in new sun loungers and an outside dining table with 6 chairs.

"exellent appartments and location"
this is our 2nd stay at the olivia appts and we are returning in 2013 for our 3rd holiday
exellent location close to the beach,shops.restraunts the appartments are clean and spacious would deffinately recomend to either families or couples.

"Privacy,great views and ideal location"
We stayed here a few years ago and rebooked this year,the villa has great views and being the penthouse also gives you privacy.there is a lift which comes in handy when you've been to the large supermarket which is just across the road,the pool is great and because the villa is in a residential building it doesn't get over crowded and is well looked after,there is a lovely bar next to the pool and just outside the residential gate there are a few more Bars that also sell food,we regularly went to coopers bar for breakfast. Also because you have the who.e roof to yourself it is great for sunbathing and the owner has put in new sun loungers which are great. We also noticed that the roof was being retiled which is good and the only critisise I have is the the villa needs new outdoor furniture as the one that is there at the moment,although very comfortable is ripped and well worn that the villa would benefit with a few more fans as the air con didn't really work properly and kept leaking in the on suite bedroom .overall though a great place to stay and would recommend to anyone especially families,will definitely be booking again for next year.

New outdoor furniture has been put in as well as a ceiling fan in the small bedroom and more fans in other rooms.
There is also a new 32" TV.
