The Mallorca/Majorca region
Mallorca is the biggest of the Balearics, and its size is reflected in its diversity. Palma, the only real city in the Balearics, has wonderful Gothic architecture and grand mansions. The maze-like streets are great for exploration, and the city has some of the most inexpensive tapas bars and restaurants in the Islands. There is also lively nightlife to be found in the Plaça Llotja area.
The Palma Nova / Torrenova area
Palma Nova is just 15km from the historical capital of Palma. The resort itself has 3 beaches all with great facilities and lifeguards in the holiday season, and golf courses are within easy reach. The seafront promenade has plenty of restaurants, bars and delightful pavement cafes, which are all child friendly. The resort is very central for four golf courses, all within 10-15 minutes drive away. The courses are of a high standard and very popular.

Best Villa we have stayed in and been back 3 times..couldn't afford it this year but hoping to go back in the very near future. it's everything you could ask for..great location lovely bar beautiful inside and out..and Sebastian very friendly, went home to get his cd player for us..only downside wifi!! children raging from 9-18 all with mobiles or ipods complaining that there wasn't any wifi and had to go down to Liria restaurant to connect..otherwise it would cost a fortune...other than that fantastic...so please Nick if your reading Please could we have wifi..many thanks Davies family x |
