The maze-like streets are great for exploration, and the city has some of the most inexpensive tapas bars and restaurants in the Islands. There is also lively nightlife to be found in the Plaça Llotja area.
Palma Nova / Torrenova area
Palma Nova is just 15km from the historical capital of Palma. The resort itself has 3 beaches all with great facilities and lifeguards in the holiday season, and golf courses are within easy reach. The seafront promenade has plenty of restaurants, bars and delightful pavement cafes, which are all child friendly. The resort is very central for four golf courses, all within 10-15 minutes drive away. The courses are of a high standard and very popular.
