Palma Nova has a great night life with its many bars and restaurants all within walking distance and adjoining resort of Magaluf.
The Palma Nova / Son Matias area
Coast/Beach
The beach is approx. 100 metres away and offers sun loungers and parasols for those who like to stay cool. Many water sports are on offer ie pedalos, jet skis, paragliding and much much more.
Golf
The resort is well known for good golf courses, there are four and are a short 15 mins. drive away.
They are very popular with the holiday maker and therefore it is advisable to book.
Travel
Nearest airport is Palma which is approx. 20 mins. drive away. There is a regular bus service to and from the airport.
Taxis are readily available also. Car hire is not essential as Palma Nova is very central.
Distances.
The Capital Palma is 15 mins. away. Worth a visit is the magnificent Cathedral. Palma is also a historical town and holds a large market every Saturday. Cruise liners moor in Palma also.
Marineland is only 5 mins. drive away where you can see dolphins, seals and many other marine animals.
A variety of shows and sight seeing tours can be booked through local tour operators.

We were a group of friends coming to Mallorca for a beach volleyball training camp in Palmanova. We had a great stay in this apartment. Would recommend it. Great location: 2-minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to big supermarket. The freezing pool (it was early november) was perfect for sore muscles... Thank you! |

Had a wonderful holiday in this apartment. When booking we found Valerie to be more than helpful and very informative.The apartment was very clean,spacious and beautifully decorated with all facilities. The pool and small garden is cleaned every morning and also use of sun loungers to bring down to pool area if required. It is only 5 mins walk to the white sandy beaches,and the promenade is very flat for walking, very suitable for the older person. Lots of fun activites for young families with children and also water parks nearby. A frequent bus service is available. All in all a great place to holiday. Have booked again for next year!! |
