There are also various activities with in a short drive of the town including Quad bikes, water sports, water park ,Zoo, and theme park.
Just a walk to local supermarkets, bars and restaurants,and just a walk distance to sea side and natural park.

Fly to tenerife south from airports. cheap flights from Monarch air lines(flymonarch.com) and thomas cook.
From airport you can arrange taxi to palm mar which will cost approximatley around 25 Euro and its only 10-15 minutes drive, or you can hire at very competive rate from Auto Reisen (www.autoreisen.es) you can collect on your arrival and drop the car on your depature.

“Fabulous, clean apartment, great for children.” We stayed at the apartment in August 2012 and had a fantastic time, very clean and spacious it had all the things we needed. Based in Palm mar we enjoyed the local restaurants and also used a hire car to travel to the beach at Los Cristianos and the restaurants there too. Excellent will be staying again soon.

“perfectly” Most of all the place where Apartments settled down was pleasant. Silence, rest, beauty and singing of birds. Magnificent pool. It is very convenient for children, depth 1,30 see. Safely for the small. A complex where there are apartments very modern and pure. 10 minutes of driving of Los Krestyanos, Los the American, but only by the car. Council: the car take on weight stay term. Thus, you will reach always in any point of the island and the next resort centers. A taxi very expensive, to Los Krestyanosa of 15-18 euros. Near Palmar the small town Los Galetos where it is possible to buy fresh fish, directly from pier of the ships in the morning. In reach of pedestrian walk of 5 mines, a supermarket in which all can be bought. In apartments it was good, they comfortable, light, a big terrace overlooking the ocean. There is the garage for the car. In the household plan everything is, except the conditioner and the dishwasher. Yes, balcony locks were faulty. Apartments very beautiful in an interior and convenient, but weren't prepared for arrival of guests, in day of our arrival was rather dirty. In the description on a site, it was declared that bathrooms 2, it appeared that 1, a toilet 2. As a whole it was pleasant to us.

“A lovely apartment which suited our needs perfectly” We had stayed in Palm Mar before and liked the area which is very quiet and friendly. The apartment is a high standard on 2 levels. There is an excellent walk to a light house and easy access to large resorts and the airport. We had a very nice holiday and would definitely book this apartment again

“Peaceful area within easy driving distance of attractions” We are a family of 3 people (myself, my wife and 10 year old son). We stayed in the apartment in February 2012. We had left our holiday plans to the last minute and thankfully we were able to secure this apartment for the week due to a last minute cancellation. The owner seems to check his email once daily in the evenings so there may be a day between responses when communicating with him. Due to the fact that we left it so late the owner was not able to post the keys to us but he arranged for the housekeeper (a friendly English lady) to meet us with the keys (for a slight extra charge). A car is a must-have since Palm Mar does not have a good beach (too rocky) and the nearest sandy beach (Los Christianos) is a good 10 to 15 minute drive away. I would recommend the beach in Los Christianos as it is a white-sand beach with plenty of space and nice for swimming. There is a supermarket within walking distance of the apartment which stays open until about 10pm and has everything you need.There are also a couple of restaurants in walking distance but I can't comment on them since we did not visit them. There is an undercover garage in the complex to park the car with easy access to the apartment, but I found the parking tight and difficult. We were happy to park on the street anyway and there was always plenty of parking on the street. The apartment itself is great. Clean and big enough for our family. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed - fridge, stove, oven, good amount of frying pans, pots, crockery and cutlery. The lounge area had comfortable couches and a TV and DVD player plus there were a few satellite channels. The apartment is next to the main gate and overlooks the street but the area is quiet (at least it was in February) and we were able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the sun with no bother. The motor on the gate does make a noise when cars enter and exit the complex but I did not find it a problem and it did not wake me up in the morning although a light sleeper might be bothered by it. The beds were not the comfiest but were good enough for us (I suffer from a bad back and the bed did not cause me any extra discomfort). My son did not enjoy the bed though. The apartment had enough linen, blankets, towels and even pool towels. We visited the pool area one afternoon. There are plenty of pool loungers and the area is quiet. The pool is not heated and my son was the only one of us brave enough to dive in. He swam a length and jumped straight out. Very cold! It was February so maybe it warms up later in the year. The apartment is ideally situated. The airport is about 12 minutes drive, there is a go-karting track about 8 minutes away, Las Galletas (village with some nice seaside restaurants) is about 5 minutes away and the on-ramp to the main highway is about 5 minutes away. Siam Park is about 15 minutes away. We were very happy with the apartment. It's far enough away from the crazy loud masses but not too far that you can't get to attractions easily but a car is definitely needed.
