About the home

As the owners we take particular pride in offering our home at the highest standard. Care is taken to ensure those high standards our maintained. Even recently we have refurbished and redecorated to maintain the look of this Luxury and spacious property. Primarily the apartment sleeps up to 6 people but can be extended to 8 persons with two further people sleeping on the quality sofa-bed in the large lounge area.

All bedrooms are light and spacious fitted with full-length wardrobes and drawers providing plenty of hanging/storage space for clothes. Bedside lockers with drawer space, table lamps and ceiling fans also add to the comfort. All fresh towels and bedding are provided.

The master bedroom has patio doors leading to a balcony enjoying early morning sunshine. Also for your convenience, a security safe can be found in the wardrobe area.

There are two bathrooms, one with WC, bathtub including overhead shower and the other with designated shower cubicle and a second WC

The kitchen is fully fitted with electric oven, overhead extractor, upright fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There are eight sets of crockery and cutlery. Included are pots, pans and all the other usual utensils.

For those of you who enjoy the comfort of eating at home you can find all crockery, knives, forks and placemats to enjoy the luxury dining as shown in the photographs. It makes for a wonderfull surrounding to dine within your very own apartment.

Iron, ironing board and washing machine can all available for use

The store room is located on the ground floor and equipped with sun-beds, parasol and inflatables. The poolside is equipped with sunbeds for use and just requires you to re-stack at the end of the day after use.

Transport:-
Although car hire is advised it is not essential. There are plenty of local bars and restaurents within walking distance of the apartment within Palm Mar. If you require a visit into Christianos or any of the other local larger towns then a Bus service is also available from Palm Mar aswell as local taxis. Local car hire is also available if you require to do some island touring for a few days.

Ideal for golfing parties. 27 sqm terrace overlooking the pools. A smaller terrace off the Master Bedroom. All Bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging space for cloths and built in drawer units. Lift access.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife has a variation in climate that normally is found only on larger continents. All year around a fresh and moist air is blowing over the island and keep the temperature down to an acceptable level. Sometimes the island gets dry wind blowing from the Sahara.

The combination of the fresh damp wind, sea breeze and the Gulf stream gives hot summers and the temperature during wintertime is around 17-21 degrees. The characteristic climate of the Canary Islands means unique combinations of weather conditions with snowfall at the same time that you can enjoy the wonderful beach life, only a few miles away.

The apartment is located approximately 7 minute walk from the beach with its promenade. The beach is a mixture of fine sand and areas of rocks and stones. From the beach you can see the sun go down behind the island of La Gomera. Sunset is quite accurate at 20:00. Another local beach Los Galletas with its local feel and charm can be reached by car within 5 mins. This is local and prices for food and drink are much cheaper. The more tourist Beach resorts of Los Christianos, Playa Americas, Fanabe and Adeje are all within easy reach by car in 10mins. The Palm Mar area

Parque Nacional de las Canarias del Teide:

Parque Nacional de las Canarias del Teide was recognized as a national park in 1954 and includes an enormous crater of 48 km in circumference and the Mount Teide which rises to an altitude of 3718 meters. Teide is the highest mountain in Spain. The park is located about 2000 meters above sea level. There are winters with heavy snow falls and sometime the wind is so powerful that the roads up to the mountain will have to close. During the summer months the temperature can rise above 40 degrees Celsius and the surroundings of the countryside looks like it could have been taken straight from a cowboy movie. The accessibility to the volcano is either by foot or by cable car that will take you almost to the top. From the top you will on a clear day get the feeling of being in the sky with a view to Grand Canaria, Las Palmas, El Hierro and La Gomera. Teide is the most visited tourist attraction on the Canary Islands that is not to be missed.

Loro Parque:

Loro Parque you will be fascinated by whatever age group you are in. Originally this was a parrot park. The park is the second most visited park after Teide. Loro Parque contains the worlds most important Parrot collection with over 300 species, unique sea lion shows, dolphin shows, parrot shows, aquarium with shark tunnel, gorillas, chimpanzees, tigers, jaguars, flamingos, alligators, turtle, orchid, "Natura Vision" movie and the world's largest aquarium for penguins with reconstructed artic climate with a snowfall of 12 tons each.

Aqua Park:

Aqua Park is located at Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas and is the hub of water and sun worshippers. The park offers dolphin shows, a dolphin "ocean", children's area and fantastic water slides, pools, sun deck with sun beds, restaurants, shops and snack bars . Shuttle bus runs daily from both Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas.

Tenerife Pearl:

If you are fond of pearls or maybe want to celebrate a special occasion it might be an idea to visit Tenerife Pearl. Tenerife Pearl is a part of the World Pearl Group and is located in Armenime only 15 minutes drive from Los Cristianos. The site has over 1500 square feet of pearls and pearl jewelry exhibited. There is a café in the facilities where you can by dinner and be photographed at the "fountain of love". There is a free bus run to Tenerife Pearl from Los Christianos, los Americas, Costa Adeje and Golf del Sur.

Spas:

Why not make the spa a visit on your holidays? Aqua Club Termal is a large water park for adults where you can relax and recharge your batteries. It costs 27 Euro for 2.5 hours. A bathrobe is included and an instructor will explain how to take the various baths in certain order. There is water massage, Jacuzzi, cold pool, herb and mineral etc. After two and a half hours you will feel newly born again!

Flights from the UK
Both Easyjet from Gatwick and Ryanair from Stansted operate daily flights to Tenerife.

There are daily scheduled flights from the UK with Monarch.

Fly from Birmingham, Luton, Gatwick and Manchester. Tenerife is a popular year round destination and Jet2, Ryanair, Easyjet and Thomson all fly regularly into Tenerife South as well as charter flights available through First Choice.

Car hire is available directly from the airport terminal with two local companies Record Rent a Car or Auto Reisen. Both companies offer a very competitive and reliable service.

Alternatively, if car hire is only required for a few days, there is a local company 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Rates are negotiable on the day.

Flights from Norway
Flights are direct from Oslo Gardermoen airport to Tenerife airport from Oct 31 for the Winter period only, operated by Norwegian Airlines at www.norwegian.no

Another cost effective route for other times of the year from Norway is Norwegian Airlines from Oslo to Madrid. Then transfer direct to Tenerife using Air Europa at www.aireuropa.com. Transfer times are comparable and the terminals are next to each other with little distance to walk.

Airport Transfers
Pick-up and transfer from the airport can be arranged on request and payable direct to the driver. Most guests just take a local taxi, journey time is 10 to 15 minutes and cost around 25 Euros.

“wonderful holiday” This is a great apartment, very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you need. Great kitchen, comfortable beds. Successful layout of the apartment. Possible to put two families. Lovely large terrace with views of the ocean, where you can watch the sunset. A lot of different dishes and kitchen utensils. Excellent internet. City of Palm Mar is a beautiful and quiet for a relaxing holiday. The apartment has a private garage, which is very convenient as a car can get to any tourist center and the airport in 15 minutes. Very close to the ocean, a beautiful promenade and great restaurants.

“Perfect holiday apartment” We have stayed in this apartment on a number of occasions. It is decorated very tastefully and even has UK tv! The apartment is easy to find from the airport and is within walking distance of the local shops, bars and restaurants. It has everything you need if you decide to stay in and cook and the spacious balcony is great to sit on and watch the sun go down. Alternatively if you fancy a trip to the local market or for a night out, you can jump in a taxi to Los Christianos. We've had some lovely holidays here and would totally recommend this if you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday in a quality apartment.

“Fantastic appartment in a great location” Appartment was furnished to a high standard and was very close to local shops (much cheaper than UK prices). Pools were excellent and very clean. Local restaurants were excellent with a very friendly atmosphere. A Quiet location within easy reach of the main beach of Los christianos and Playas de las Americas (10-15 mins by taxi). airport is only 20 minutes away by taxi. All in in all an excellent holiday in a great appartment.

“excellent apartment in a peaceful resort” Thank you for the use of your beautiful apartment! We (six adults aged 25 - 53) stayed here for one week, it was spacious, spotless, and well equipped. The beds and pillows were very comfy, and the showers are very good with plenty of hot water. It has a nice big terrace with a view of the pool area, again all well maintained and spotlessly clean. Palm Mar is a quiet resort with friendly locals and enough places to drink and eat a variety of food for a week, at very reasonable prices. Don't come here if you are looking for noisy bars with tribute acts, clubs and entertainment (although that is only a taxi ride away should you need it!). We hired a car which made getting around easier (Siam Park is a must), but there were buses in evidence too. We would definitely recommend this apartment, and would love to return here one day. Many thanks again!
