Villa Zen Vida sleeps 8/10 (to include 2 children in family bedroom) and is a 4 bedroom detached executive villa. The property has recently completed a total renovation project to a very high standard with luxury fittings throughtout, providing a spacious contemparary style for the decerning guest. The property has a private heated pool and an extensive terrace together with landscaped gardens, beautiful marble floors throughout. It is situated in a peaceful location with sea views and this front line property is only a step away from the 1km promenade and 5 minutes walk to restaurants and supermarkets.

Bedroom 1 with luxury quality super king bed. Direct access to the terraces and swimming pool beyond.

Bedroom 3 with 4 beds, 2 x twin beds pushed together, 1 single plus 1 upper child's bunk bed (on top of cupboards).
Bedroom 4 with twin beds (pushed together).

En-suite shower room to bedroom 1 with large walk in shower, twin basins, wc.
En-suite bathroom to bedrooms 2-3 (accessible from both sides) with shower over bath, twin basins, wc.

Kitchen:
Cooker, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, juicer, coffee machine, fully equipped with all necessary utensils. Extensive centre island to include table plus 8 chairs for inside dining. Concealed ceiling lighting.

Utility Room:
The utility/laundry and store is located to the side of the villa with access from the terrace, this is where the washing machine separate tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are to be found.

Living Rooms:
The living room is part of a huge area that is the hub of the inside space. It has illuminated glass shelves inserted into three alcoves. A large contemporary L shaped sofa. seating 8. There is a TV with English BBC and ITV channels, Sky with limited channels (bring your own sky card from home, for full Sky program) plus a DVD player. and a CD player with an i pod docking station.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
All linen and towels plus pool towels included. If villa is rented for more than a week then a weekly linen change is included free. Cleaning throughout your stay must be pre arranged at an additional charge. Pool and garden maintance included.

Further details outdoors:
The detached villa is walled all around with lockable front and back gates. Recently planted landscaped garden. Large wide paved terrace with private heated swimming pool 8 x 4m (for guests use only) poolside shower and sun loungers. The pool is illuminated at night. A covered alfresco dining area complete with a large ratten/teak glass topped table and 8 ratten chairs each with a cream cushion pad. Completing this lovely area is a 40 year old palm tree that doubles up to make a fantastic parasol, an ideal place in the shade to curl up with a good book or just relax to the sound of the sea crashing against the cliffs whilst taking your siesta.

The pool is not heated between April and Oct (inclusive). Please telephone or e-mail owner to confirm availability. Initial booking deposit of £400 to secure booking and breakages. This is reimbursed once keys have been returned and a final inspection has been carried out. Final payment 8 weeks before departure. Normally paid into UK bank, but euros can be paid into a Spanish bank. No refund of balance repayable on cancellation.
We do not accept responsibility for loss or injuiry/personal or otherwise, suffered by anyone, whilst staying at our villa. We strongly recommend insurance to be taken, to cover yourself, family or friends during your stay, which will also cover sickness etc.

The Tenerife region

The Magic Island that Lord Nelson wanted to take, perfect weather and stunning natural beauty are the island main attractions. Positioned just off the coast off West Africa, it enjoys all year sunshine with temperature never below 20 degrees and frequently above 30! Discover the sunny beaches, marvel at the changing scenes, from it's volcanic lunar landscape of the Teide National park and to the lush oaisis of greenery from surrounding pools with palms a plenty at the loca hotels. Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands.

The Palm Mar area

The promenade (1km long) is very conveniently situated just outside the front gate, that's ideal for an early morning jog or a quiet leisurely evening stroll, taking in the lovely fresh breeze of the Atlantic Ocean. The natural unmade beach also features rock pools that are great to explore at low tide. The villa is quietly situated at the end of a no through road, hardly any traffic noise at all. The villa also enjoys beautiful views to the island of “La Gomera” making a fabulous backdrop to the wonderful sunsets.

Restaurants and bars, supermarkets and a bank only a 5 minute walk away. Main tourist resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas a little over 10 minute drive away.

The beach of natural shingle and sand is only a a few steps from the villa. Palm Mar is a little over 10 minute drive to the busier tourist resorts Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos.

The villa is situated within 15-20 minutes of 5 golf courses. the nearest being 9 holes only 5 minutes drive away.

Nearest airport is Tenerife Reina Sofia a 15 min drive away. Car hire is recommended for the villa, but not absolutely essential as restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance of the villa.

“Great villa for families for relaxation in a peaceful spot.” We had a great stay at Villa Zen Vida. The villa is well presented, very clean and well equipped. The view from the roof terrace, in particular, is fantastic. Palm Mar is very quiet, which suited us, and we found it to be a relaxed, friendly and safe place. The beach is mainly pebbles and rocks, with a small sandy area and lots of rock pools to explore, which the kids loved. There are also some nice cafes/restaurants for lunch, although it was pretty quiet in the evening. We would recommend The Sea Lounge though, five minutes walk away, for a really good evening meal and a nice atmosphere. “a peice of heaven on a buisy island” This villa exceeded my expectations its stunning, the glorious open plan living area all mod cons n comfy.the bedrooms are tastefully furnished and practial,the iceing on the cake is the wonderful outside space tables n chairs galore beautiful pool ,and lovely rooftop area where the view out to sea is spectacular .I can thouroughly reccomend this villa . “a perfect holiday” We had a nice time at this house with 8 persons in january. the location is beautiful: A few steps and you are at the beach and the house is located in a dead end and very quiet. Response: I am pleased you elected to spend your holiday at our house, and enjoyed the beach side location, and being able to relax to the sound of the sea.

“Villa Zen Vida - The Place to Rent in Pal Mar” When me, my partner & others arrived at the Villa we couldnt take the smile's from our faces - the Villa was exactly as it had been described on the Holiday Lettings Website and exceeded our expectations.The Villa had everything we required for our weeks stay and was a perfect setting for us to enjoy our New Year in the sun. The pool was heated for us arriving so if you needed to cool down you could take a dip. The sea view from the upstairs balcony was absolutely beautiful, and becuase where the villa is situated it was just peace, perfect peace. I had the pleasure of the mater bedroom with the tastefully decorated en suite. We also had the free wi-fi which was a god send! We went to Siam Park (Water Park) and into Las Americas which only cost around 15-18euros in a taxi - a small price to pay for staying in such a beautiful place! I would most definately recommend Villa Zen Vida to a friend - its just generally a lovely place to be and it gives you a feel of calm. I would love to visit the Villa again in the future. Thank you again to the kind owners for allowing our group booking and for returning the security deposit promptly. “From the minute we opened the front door it had a real wow factor” We had a lovely stay at Villa Zen Vida,It more than exceeded our expectations.The villa itself is very spacious and it also has a wonderful extensive upstairs terrace,ideal for any sun worshiper as well as those who prefer cooler conditions later in the day to watch the sun setting over Gomera. In particular the pool was of perfect size with decent depth for those who enjoy a proper swim. Palmar,where the villa was situated had everything we needed but I would recomend the hire of a car to visit the tourist areas of the island in particular for when shopping for gifts such as perfume,clothes etc ... There is also a limited bus service to two nearby costal ports,including Los Cristianos. I very much enjoyed the peace and quiet,despite the villa's front line situation. I was sorry when we had to depart for the airport. I very much look forward to returning.
