The Dubai region

Dubai and the other United Arab Emirates offer a varied landscape, from sand dunes and desert, to the man-made Palm Islands, offering everything from historic forts to modern world-leading buildings and shopping malls.

Dubai's shopping experience is like no other in the world - with duty free shopping, valet parking, cheap imports and even a ski slope (with real snow!) inside the Mall of the Emirates and the world famous annual Dubai Shopping Festival there is something for everyone.


Palm Island area

The Palm Jumeirah is the most exciting residential project on earth. A man-made island off the shores of Dubai, the Palm extends 6.5 kilometres into the Arabian Gulf, and is surrounded by an 11 kilometre-long crescent shaped breakwater.

Almost guaranteed sunshine, world class golf courses, a fabulous range of restaurants and bars, duty free shopping, the Wild Wadi Water Park and desert activities of 4X4 dune bashing, quad biking and sand boarding will keep you very busy.

Close enough to enjoy the restaurants and bars on offer at the 5/6* hotels yet quietly positioned with its own private beach.

The Montgomerie golf club and Emirates golf club are minutes away, with grocery shopping facilities also close by offering free delivery should you wish to order by phone or alternatively, send the houseboy / driver!.


How to get there

Fly either to Dubai or Abu Dhabi; both routes have many carries including Emirates, BA, Virgin and Gulf Air. The transfer from Dubai airport is around 40 minutes and from Abu Dhabi 45 minutes.

Guestbook for Dubai Holiday Villa

As the first official guest/client I am absolutely in ore of this villa. The owners have surpassed all my expectations in the interior and exterior decoration of the villa. The bedrooms are exquisitely designed and furnish, the lounge is simply stunning and the views of the fronds and water are astounding; these, together with the helpfulness of the staff made the stay one that I will always remember. - Mr Christopher Oldfield.

With the Palm only opening to residents in early 2007 we were a little apprehensive as to what we would find! Our hopes were not only met, but far exceeded. We were greeted as VIP's at the airport and whisked through passport control into a waiting limousine. The villa is stunning, and the children could just not believe that the distance from the entertainment room, to the pool and then down the terrace to our 'own' beach was measured in meters! The Palm benefits from a slight breeze, which made our many evenings sitting outside overlooking the sea unforgettable. Finally, Jason the houseboy/driver could not have been more helpful - Thank You, Jason! - Mr & Mrs Steve Gallagher.
