Villa Flora 1: in the pretty Mediterranean style located near Balestrate, a small seaside town on the northern coast of Sicily, exactly 40 Km on the western side of Palermo and 40 Km on the oriental side of Trapani. The villa is located in the gulf of Castellammare one of the most beautiful places in Sicily.
It's situated at the Ground floor of a building in a sunny and quiet Villa close the golden and sandy Beach, with Independent and PRIVATE external room with plants, flowes. 20 minutes from the airports.
This accommodation is ideal for a family or group of friends who love the sea and will enjoy relaxing on the Pool.
We´re located in the middle of nature, but still close to the city center of Balestrate - a kilometer from shopping and restaurants.
The villa has access to the sandy beach by walking along just 1,4 kilometer path - 2 mins drive. Guests will enjoy relaxing in the great swimming pool located in a wonderful rural setting .
The villa has got all outside openings. It is very luminous and airy.
The villa is surrounded by a lovely garden with Pool, ornamental plants and Private parking lot. Terraces with Outdoor furniture, Parasol and external Showers.
This is a very nice flat, quiet, ideal to visit the Sicily island.
The POSITION of the villa is a valid START POINT to visit the most important tourist sites in DAILY EXCURSIONS as it is situated at only 1 km far from the Junction of motorways - ( A/29 Palermo - Trapani- Agrigento)

The structure provides with Air conditioning (warm and cold), Fan, TV, Iron, Ironing board, Washing machines at the disposal of all tenants, Protection for mosquitos to the windows, etc.
Bed sheets, bath towels every Saturday free.

Topography -Inland are Valleys with low hills, largely cultivated with vines and olive trees producing Sicily's liquid gold, the coastline with its fishing towns, and golden sandy beaches and a relaxed atmosphere.
30 min. from Trapani city offering , Boat trips to smaller Islands, Trekking and archaeological sites. On the west side Palermo, Monreale etc. to be discovered.
Sicily is full of tourists attractions and archaeological sites too many to list, including mount Etna, Europe largest and active Volcano. The cleaned up sea, the sun all the year, the architectonic beauties, the good nature, the good food, the people friendly, the still alive traditions, you make of all this the frame of your next vacations.

The Palermo / Balestrate area
Balestrate is a former fishing village with approximately 7.000 inhabitants and is situated only 35km west of Palermo in the Gulf of Castellammare. Magnificent, kilometre-long beaches stretch west and east along the coast from the village. Behind the beach to the west of the village, there is a wood with Eucalyptus and Tamarisk.
Balestrate offers everything you might need. Restaurants, bars, pubs, discotheque, supermarkets, bank machine, internet cafe. Monday is market day. In Balestrate you will find everything you need for scuba diving, angling and for motor boot sport. It also has a yacht marina.
To 15 minutes from the airport of Palermo, optimal position for cultural excursions artistic.

The Position of the villa Flora is a valid Start point to visit the most important touristic sites in daily excursions.
Our flats are situated in the Gulf of Castellammare, one of the most beautiful plaeces in Sicily, connected very good to the rest of Sicily thanks to the freeway A29 Palermo - Trapani, to the railway station of Balestate and to the Palermo and Trapani Ports and Airports.
As to reach By Airplane: From the Airport of Palermo, to take the highway A29 Palermo - Trapani / Mazara del Vallo. After approximately 20 Km exiting to Balestrate, therefore to follow the indications for Balestrate centre.
From the Airport of Trapani, to take the highway A29 Trapani - Palermo. After approximately 50 Km exiting to Balestrate, therefore to follow the indications for Balestrate Centre.

The local buses and train regularly work between the airport and the city.

(UK) We have now returned from our great holiday in Sicily and just wanted to say how pleased we were with VILLA FLORA , it was ideal for us, rustic but modernised with sea views and tranquil setting -we certainly would consider coming to stay here again. The location near Balestrate suited us well(though you do need a car) as it was quiet and unspoiled with a delightful courtyard in the village with a great place to eat. Other highlights have to be also we drove out to Scopello and the Zingaro reserve, Erice-medieval village, Segesta and Selinunte to the Greek temples and theatre which were equally magnificent as was Monreale. Weather was perfect for the whole week very hot and beaches not too crowded. It was our first visit to Sicily and choosing the west which is unspoilt and still holds the rural Sicilian culture was ideal - lovely Sicilian food. We enjoyed eating at Rosa dei Venti in Balestrate and La Cambusa in Castellammare. Many thanks for meeting us and taking us to the accommodation and for supplying a few basic foods to get us started too. Please keep us informed of any special offers in the future. Vacation rental : arrival at any day - In July & August we prefer to renting for Saturday to Saturday or from Sunday to Sunday.
Refundable € 100 security deposit required with final balance payment (used by the landlord as a guarantee against any damage caused by the tenant. The deposit is returned at the end of the rental period).
We organize (Extra charges) upon demand the PICK UP from Palermo and Trapani airports to ours flats in Balestrate village.
