The Sicily region
Climate - April average temperatures 17°-21°C some rain occasionally. May 21°-28°C and sunny. June 28°-31°C sunny July and August 33°/34°C + Topography -Inland are Valleys with low hills, largly coltivated with vines and olive trees producing Sicily's liquid gold, the coastline with its fishing towns, and golden sandy beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. 35min. from Trapani city offering , Boat trips to smaller Islands, Trecking and archaeological sites. On the west side Palermo, Monreale etc. to be discovered.
Sicily is full of tourists attractions and archaeological sites too many to list, including mount Etna,Europe largest and active Volcano. Palermo / Balestrate area
Balestrate is a former fishing village with approximately 7.000 inhabitants and is situated only 35km west of Palermo in the Gulf of Castellammare. Magnificent, kilometre-long beaches stretch west and east along the coast from the village. Behind the beach to the west of the village, there is a wood with Eucalyptus and Tamarisk. Balestrate offers everything you might need. Restaurants, bars, pubs, discotheque, supermarkets, bank machine, internet cafe. Monday is market day. In Balestrate you will find everything you need for scuba diving, angling and for motor boot sport. It also has a yacht marina.
The dwelling in our centre does not mean alone to make use of the sea or of the coast or the rich one it is green campaign, since it offers also the possibility to catch up in less than an hour than machine places that are goal of international tourism Palermo, Solunto, Monreale and Cefalù for the immense artistic patrimony, Bottoming drills for its characteristic ones goes up of it and flour mills to wind, Agrigento for its splendid one goes them of the temples, Segesta for its Greek theatre and temple, Erice beautifulst city medioeval constructed on the montain, Selinunte with its greater archaeological park of Europe, Scopello, it reservoir of Zingaro, etc.
How to get there
The POSITION of the villa is a valid START POINT to visit the most important touristic sites in DAILY EXCURSIONS. Our flats are situated in the Gulf of Castellammare, one of the most beautiful plaeces in Sicily, connected very good to the rest of Sicily thanks to the freeway A29 Palermo - Trapani, to the railway station of Balestate and to the Palermo and Trapani Ports and Airports
As to reach By Airplane: From the Airport Falcone - Borsellino of Palermo Punta Raisi, to take the highway A29 Palermo - Trapani / Mazara del Vallo. After approximately 20 Km exiting to BALESTRATE, therefore to follow the indications for Balestrate centre. From the Airport Vincenzo Florio of Trapani-Birgi, to take the highway A29 Trapani - Palermo. After approximately 50 Km exiting to BALESTRATE, therefore to follow the indications for Balestrate Centre.

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.
Per additional guest in the apartment the Prices is plus 10 Euros per night - All inclusive.
Towels and linen are included, Towels and linen are changed every week free.
Charges (Air condition warm & cold, Internet Wi Fi 24h x 24h, water, electricity, gas) already included in the rent.
Final cleaning of the apartment and linen, 60 Euros.
The central heating is Extra charges (10 Euros per night).
Vacation rental : arrival at any day - In July & August we prefer to renting for Saturday to Saturday.
Refundable € 100 security deposit required with final balance payment (used by the landlord as a guarantee against any damage caused by the tenant. The deposit is returned at the end of the rental period).
We can accept payments in Euros by bank transfer or with Paypal - Booking down payment (DEPOSIT) least 30 %.

Attic Lolita was very clean and comfortable, the top floor apartment in a nicely maintained property with three other apartments, including the owners. It has a large sunny private roof terrace with a full view of the bay. It was quiet, with the only noise from the Church Bells after siesta! Balestrate is a friendly small town with a central Square surrounded by small shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and a Bank, all within 10 minutes walk, including the bus stop and train station with frequent services into Palermo city (about 1 hour). The nearest beach was 10 minutes walk, and the main beach about 15 minutes. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and we would certainly return there. We had a restful holiday, and enjoyed the short walks to the shops and beach, but a car would be necessary for those who prefer to explore outside Balestrate, or for those wanting more nightlife, clubs and bars.
