We sorted out trips by train and local buses - for example to Palermo, Monreale, Trapani, Erice, Segesta, Selinunte, Agrigento, Corleone, Marsala, Mozia, Lo Zingaro, you don't organize nothing - you have to buy only the train tickets for a very cheap price.
The holiday apartment with a beautiful seaview from the typical sicilian terrace on the top of the house, is located on the outskirts of Balestrate, a quiet village near Palermo, surrounded by the homes of local people. Here you can learn at first hand how the fun-loving Sicilians really live. Fresh fish and vegetables are sold in the streets every morning. The nearest beach is approx. 0,3 miles away and shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Monday is market day in Balestrate.
Leading from the living kitchen is the second terrace, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the flat is ideal for families or couples, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Balestrate, a cute little town with 6000 inhabitants, is situated 35km west of Palermo in the famous Gulf of Castellammare. The location offers all the best.
