Bright penthouse located in Via Maqueda, in the heart of the city, not far from the most important architectural and cultural treasures of the city. The Teatro Massimo, a wonderful Art Nouveau masterpiece, the Cathedral, a jewel of Arab-Norman Art in Sicily, and then San Giovanni degli Eremiti, Piazza Pretoria, La Martorana, Norman Palace, the Museo Arcivescovile, Porta Nuova, Piazza Marina are just some of the most important destinations that is possible to reach after a few minutes of pleasant walk thanks to the successful positioning of the flat. Although it is favorably placed in a lively and picturesque environment, in the vicinity of Ballarò, the famous popular market , of Via Roma and Via Ruggiero VII, very frequent shopping destinations in the city, the apartment benefits from a good position on the top floor of a noble building, which makes it like a quiet and relaxing oasis where you will immerse yourself into an agreeable embrace. Inside you will appreciate its bright and comfortable rooms, a beautiful flowered terrace overlooking Via Maqueda and balconies with panoramic views of the city with its colorful rooftops and beautiful domes of its churches. The flat has been restored in 2020, simultaneously with the entire building, and has been furnished with loving care to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

The apartment is only a few meters from the Central Railway Station, in an area well served by buses and taxis, equipped with connections to the Airport and the beach of Mondello, just a short distance from the Port.

Tips to remember: go shopping in the streets of city center, go to the many nightclubs to spend a pleasant night, and for those who love nature, we recommend you visit the beautiful beach of the Gulf of Mondello, or jogging on the beautiful and immense promenade, just a short distance or easily accessible.

Dear Ellen, thank you for having stayed in my apartment and for expressing your opinion. If on the one hand I appreciate your recognition on my person by calling me "Dear and Attentive", on the other hand I do not understand why after spending seven days of vacation, you do not mention the apartment, its comfort, size, furnishings , accessories, cleaning, the quality of sponges, mattresses, etc ...; none of this has been mentioned. Now you will forgive me if we go into detail: 1 ° You yourself admit that the building is located in one of the central streets of the city, so I do not understand how it can 'have impressed you, considering it unsafe, when the strength of my apartment and all the apartments that fall on Via Maqueda, it is precisely the security and proximity to all the main attractions. This is not just me, but it would be enough to read the reviews already written by my guests, not surprisingly many of these exalt among the many things, often the location of the apartment and its serenity. 2 ° Please mention that the apartment is located on the sixth floor of the building without a lift and therefore do not recommend it. Ellen, once again affirm unclear things, because just look at the photographs published and realize that the whole building is made up of a maximum of four floors and my apartment, being an attic is on the fourth and last floor. I inform you, that most of all the buildings in the historic center, are without a lift, being considered historic. 3° You complain that to throw the trash the bins are just a few blocks away. How do you want me to answer this statement? Do not you think that if you are a guest in a city, do you have to adapt to the services offered by the administration? Ellen, the bins are located a few meters from Via Maqueda and we all adapt to this short distance, but for your idleness you have decided to stack, all the trash created in seven days of stay at the foot of the building inside of the concierge. Does this seem like a good behavior? So much so that on the day of check-out I was forced to ask your husband for help to help me throw nine bags of garbage in the appropriate box. 4 ° Thank me for providing the transfer service from the airport to the apartment the day of your arrival and vice versa the day of your departure, but add that you seemed exaggerated 120 euros required by me for both services. I suspect that your complaint is a pretext, since when you booked your trip, which occurred on January 19, 2018, you knew that this was the compensation I requested. Therefore you would have had the opportunity not to accept this service until the day of your arrival on April 2, 2018, and arrive in the apartment independently, so I find your complaint to be inappropriate and in bad taste, after you have had the privilege that you come to take personally with my car traveling the first 40 kilometers to get to the airport, another forty to accompany you in the apartment and vice versa the day of your departure, for a total of 160 kilometers. I do not understand why you have never mentioned to me these perplexities, considering that personally I took care to take you and accompany you and we spent hours in the car for these transfers, we always had a good conversation and nothing presaged your behavior , therefore I am sorry but I can calmly note that yours are not very objective points of view. Se da un lato apprezzo il tuo riconoscimento sulla mia persona definendomi “Gentile e Attento” , dall’altro non comprendo perchè dopo avere trascorso sette giorni di vacanza, non fai nessun cenno sull’appartamento, sui suoi comfort, la grandezza, l’arredamento, gli accessori, la pulizia, la qualità delle spugne, i materassi ecc…; niente di tutto questo è stato mensionato. Adesso mi perdonerai se entriamo nel dettaglio : 1° Tu stessa ammetti che l’edificio è situato in una delle vie centrali della citta’ , pertanto non capisco come puo’ averti impressionato, ritenendolo poco sicuro, quando il punto di forza del mio appartamento e di tutti gli appartamenti che ricadono su Via Maqueda, sono proprio la sicurezza e la vicinanza a tutte le attrazioni principali. Questo non lo dico solo io, ma ti basterebbe leggere le recensioni gia’ scritte dai miei ospiti, non a caso molti di questi esaltano fra le tante cose, spesso l’ubicazione dell’appartamento e la sua serenità. 2° Fai cenno che l’appartamento si trova al sesto piano dell’edificio senza ascensore e pertanto lo sconsigli. Ellen, ancora una volta affermi cose poco chiare, perché basta guardare le fotografie pubblicate e accorgersi che tutto il palazzo è formato da un massimo di quattro piani e il mio appartamento, essendo un attico si trova al quarto ed ultimo piano. Ti informo, che la maggior parte di tutti gli edifici del centro storico, sono sprovvisti di ascensore, essendo ritenuti storici. 3° Ti lamenti che per buttare la spazzatura i cassonetti si trovano a pochi isolati di distanza. Come vuoi che ti risponda a questa affermazione? Non ritieni che se sei ospite in una città, ti debba adeguare ai servizi offerti dall’amministrazione? Ellen, i cassonetti si trovano a pochi metri da Via Maqueda e tutti noi ci adeguiamo a questa breve distanza, invece per la vostra pigrizia avete ritenuto opportuno accatastare, tutta l’immondizia creata in sette giorni di soggiorno, ai piedi del palazzo all’interno della portineria. Vi sembra questo un buon comportamento? Tanto è vero che il giorno del check-out mi sono visto costretto a chiedere aiuto a tuo marito affinchè mi aiutasse a buttare nove sacchetti di immondizia nell’apposito cassonetto. 4° Mi ringrazi per averti fornito il servizio di trasferimento dall’aeroporto all’appartamento il giorno del vostro arrivo e viceversa il giorno della vostra partenza, ma aggiungi che ti sono sembrati esagerati 120 euro da me richiesti per entrambi i servizi. Mi viene il dubbio che questa tua lamentela sia pretestuosa, dato che al momento della prenotazione del tuo viaggio, avvenuta il 19 Gennaio 2018 , hai saputo che questo fosse stato il compenso da me richiesto. Pertanto avresti avuto la possibilità di non accettare questo servizio fino al giorno del tuo arrivo il 2 aprile 2018 , ed arrivare in appartamento autonomamente, quindi trovo inappropriata e di cattivo gusto la tua lamentela, dopo che hai avuto il privilegio che ti venissi a prendere personalmente con la mia automobile percorrendo i primi 40 chilometri per arrivare in aeroporto, altri quaranta per accompagnarti in appartamento e viceversa il giorno della vostra partenza, per un totale di 160 chilometri. Non capisco perché non mi hai fatto mai cenno di queste tue perplessità, considerato che personalmente mi sono preso cura di prendervi e accompagnarvi ed abbiamo passato delle ore in macchina per questi trasferimenti, abbiamo sempre avuto una buona conversazione e nulla faceva presagire a questo tuo comportamento, pertanto mi dispiace ma posso serenamente constatare che i tuoi sono dei punti di vista poco obiettivi.
