'Foresteria Blu ', is a fascinating loft for people who prefer to visit Palermo having a confortable accommodation at the very centre of the city. The building with a wonderful Baroque fa'ade (XVIII sec.) is located in via Bandiera, just at the corner with via Maqueda and 50 metres apart from the Opera House Teatro Massimo. This area is lively and rich of the best shops, wine bars, restaurants with local cuisine, cinemas, theatres, bus and taxi stops to reach the most important attractions, and a few minutes apart on foot from the elegant Via Libert', the best museums of the city, the most antique churches and the Cathedral. These apartments are a perfect starting point to discover Palermo and its neighbourhood like Bagheria with its '700 Villas, Monreale and Cefalu' with its Norman Cathedrals, Mondello with its wonderful beach, and many others localities with its own treasures. You can also easily reach the Harbour and get a fast boat to have a day-long trip in Ustica island or in the other Sicilian archipelagos. A walk of 10 minutes brings you to the Central Station, where you find trains and buses to the rest of Sicily. After passing through the portal of the building you find, at the second floor, two lofts immersed in the tranquillity of the internal courtyard from where you can admire a wonderful one hundred year old ficus tree in the hanging garden of the near Palazzo Mazzarino. The loft, recently restored, is fully equipped and you get into a small but spacious environment furnished with all the comforts: TV, air conditioning system, internet adsl wireless, refrigerator, stove, oven, comfortable closets, cupboards to store personal items and other accessories. Foresteria Verde is funished with a dishwasher as well. 'Foresteria Blu ' has a loft area with a double bed. 1 Sofa bed (single); one additional single bed. No lift.
