About the home

The three bedrooms, ground floor apartment, in a mix of classic and contemporary style, has very large and bright rooms and very stylish decorations. A very large, open space living room-dining room with view on the equipped terrace and the garden is perfect for listening to the music, watching TV or reading a book from a very well stocked bookcase, lying on very comfortable sofas. A very bright, fully equipped, masonry kitchen, in the old tradition Sicilian style, faces the main terrace and is ideal for sampling typical local dishes to be eaten out in the terrace at al fresco.
The three bedrooms, two double and one twin, all in pastel tones, are very nicely decorated, all having wide wardrobes and a wonderful view of the surrounding garden. The apartment is serviced by two large, well-lit bathrooms, one with shower, one with bathtub. The very large terrace which surrounds the apartment is equipped with a barbeque and two dining areas to allow its guests to choose every day a different location to enjoy their special meals. The villa offers its guests a very wide and comfortable parking area just at its entrance.

The Sicily region

Thanks to its mild climate due to its position at the heart of the Mediterranean sea, Sicily is a land that can be enjoyed every time of the year. The Palermo / Central Palermo area

Villa Marinella is located at the edge of Palermo's city centre, in a strategic position to allow its guests to reach the heart of the city in just few minutes by bus, while at the same time to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the city's countryside. The Villa is inside an enclosed, private street, at just few minutes from the main city's freeway which leads to the motorway. The area is very well served with local buses to different city's routes and the bus station is at just walking distance from the Villa. It is so easy, then, to reach by bus the many tourist destinations the city has to offer, such as the famous Politema Theater or the gorgeous Massimo Theater, or the Archeological Museum with precious Phoenician- Punic finds, as well as, the famous so called "Pietra di Palermo" Egyptian hieroglyphic and prehistoric finds, all very well preserved. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the Arab-Norman quarters, such as La Kalsa, facing the sea and its characteristic stone-made alleys with small local shops selling typical Sicilian local products, reminding the Arabs' bazars. A walk along the sea coast, through the public villa just behind the old walls of La Kalsa quarter, is perfect to enjoy moments of relax, maybe wathcing some fishermen with their boats loaded with fresh fish, selling their catch in the small marina. The gorgeous white Mondello beach with its crystal blue sea is at just 20 minutes by bus from the Villa. Thanks to its proximity to the motorway, Villa Marinella is an ideal base for daily trips to the main tourist sites of both Eastern and Western Sicily, such as Agrigento, Caltagirone and Siracusa on one side and Erice, Segesta, Selinunte and S.Vito Lo Capo on the other side. Many events for different tastes take regularly place in the city .
