Welcome to Acer View boutique accommodation ideally situated just 10 minutes from Glasgow Airport and in easy reach of rail links and the M8 the perfect location for a holidays, romantic break or business.

This beautiful large B listed Baronial mansion house sits in two acres of land and was built in 1896 for Ernest Coates the son of thread and mill family George Coates, famous throughout the world for the Paisley pattern design and shawl making.

Whether you're here to chill for a few days, a romantic break or a business stay, we are sure you will enjoy the peaceful surroundings, tranquil gardens and free private parking offered at Acer View.

Spires North and East offer a large double bedroom. North has ensuite facilities and East offers separate dressing room and bathroom/shower outwith room. Breakfast is served in the original panelled Billiard room.

The location is the perfect base for a golfing holiday with so many courses close by, shopping trip, sight seeing and business travel. Locally there is a great selection of restaurants, David Lloyd tennis & sports club, Xscape complex, Cinemas, shopping centres and if you prefer the outdoors there is plenty of good local walks with beautiful views.

The Central Scotland/Strathclyde region

Paisley is a the largest town in Scotland known world wide for the Paisley pattern and shawls. It offers a number of local attractions such as Paisley Abbey, built in 1163 which hosts a number of cultural events thoughout the year. The Coates Observatory was gifted to the people of Paisley by Thomas Coats in 1884 and is certainly worth a visit, through the original cobble streets of School Wynd. Other atractions include the Town Hall, Museum & Art Gallery and a number of Churches.

The main train station is Gilmore Street with links Glasgow (just 12 kilometeres) Ayrshire Coast and Inverclyde such Greenock, Gourock etc. Acer View is in easy reach of the M8 which runs just north of the town with easy links to Erskine Bridge, Glasgow Airport, Glasgow, Edinburgh ( just 1 hour awaya).

Paisley also is the home of Chivas Whisky, with itits head quarters based on the main Renfrew Road. Locally there is a number of leisure persuitsDavid Lloyd Club, tennis & gym, Xscape at Braehead offers ski slopes, snow boarding, rock climbing. If you enjoy horse riding both Ingleston at Bishopton and Bow Field at Howwood are close by.
