The Mallorca/Majorca region

2 mins drive to Paguera and Camp de Mar beaches (i.e. the bays either side of Cala Fornells). 10 mins drive to the Marinas of Andratx (famous Wednesday market) and Puerto Portals (try a cocktail in Cappuccino Bar!) where you can sit, eat great food and watch the yachts and beautiful people. 20 mins to Palma. Visit the historic old town with its beautiful cathedral (worth a trip on a Sunday morning) and winding alleys packed with boutiques/restaurants/cafes.

Coast/Beach
For nice beaches try Sant Elm, Cala Della, Port Soller, Camp de Mar (the next bay), Formentor and Es Trenc. For ‘real’ Mallorcan village/town life and food try Capdella, Deia, Galilea, Puigpunyent, Port Soller, Pollenca, Valdemossa, Alcudia (old town) and Portixol. There is also an old narrow gauge train journey between Palma & Soller which is lovely. We suggest you pick up a guide book such as 'The Rough Guide' to Mallorca which is full of great information and suggestions for things to see.

Paguera area

Golfers paradise with championship golf club just 5 minutes drive away!Keen mountain bikers will love Mallorca with its mountain scenery and unspolit, woodland trails. The island, and the immediate area around Cala Fornells is also suited ideally to Walking (the Tramuntana mountains offer some of the finest walks in Europe), Horse Riding, Diving, Fishing, Golfing, Sailing and all Water Sports (and Eating, Drinking & Shopping!!).

How to get there

Taxis are available from the airport terminal and buses towards Paguera depart regularly throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased on the bus, which can be found outside the terminal beside the multi-storey car park. From the airport take the highway in the direction of Palma until Via de Cintura. Take the exit to Andratx and continue almost to the end of this road. Arrive at Paguera and take exit 3 to Paguera Cala Fornells. .Continue until you get to a small roundabout by the side of large supermarket (Mercadona) turn left at the roundabout and continue for about 300mtres and take first left turning. The entrance to the apartments is the 1st on the left.

Lovely apartment with large furnished balcony peaceful and relaxing overlooking sea and pine woods. Tastefully furnished interior spacious lounge/ dining room with fully equipped modern open plan kitchen. Television with sky box + dvd player and play station. Two bedrooms one with 2 single beds and large fitted wardrobes, the other with double bed and en suite bathroom. All linen and towels provided (Please bring your own beach towels). The apt also has a laundry room fully equipped with washing machine dryer and ironing facilities.
Upstairs the apartment boasts of a very large roof terrace with BBQ Ideal for sun worshippers! smoking is not permitted in this apt

The apt is surrounded by gardens and has 2 shared outside pools. The gates to the apt are automatic and you have your own parking space.
. There is a beautiful cove 5 mins walk from the apartment and a little beach in front of the Cala Fornells hotel . In Peguera there are 3 large beaches which are very clean and safe.
Cala Fornells village has 2 very good restaurants and there are 2 hotels nearby, one with music at night and ideal for a drink or lunch (with magnificent views).There are 2 large supermarkets in Peguera
. Port Andratx and Portals Nous are nearby and full of excellent restaurants. You are not far from the beautiful west coast where the scenery is spectacular!
An excellent position for golf lovers. Camp De Mar boasts of a magnificent golf club which is just a 5 min drive down the rd. Santa Ponsa golf clubs are jusdt 10minute drive down the motorway, also Bendinat is 15 minute drive. Plus many more ....
