Padstow and Wadebridge are both close by, and the buzzing seaside and surfing resort of Newquay is only a short drive. Sandy beaches, fabulous restaurants, welcoming pubs and walking trails also make this a great base for discovering this wonderful part of Cornwall.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent (excluding beach towels). Cot and highchair available on request. Small enclosed grassed area with patio, furniture, BBQ and views over valley. Off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no smoking. One well behaved dog welcome. Shop/Post Office 3 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: This cottage is suitable for max 2 adults and 2 children.
The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Or could it be the cliff-top theatre at Mynack, working harbours, the world famous Eden project or St Michaels Mount, cut off from the mainland by a causeway. Or even the endless activities on offer; the Camel Cycling and Walking Trail, stunning coastal paths or the National Surf Centre at Newquay’s Fistral beach. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
The Padstow / St Issey area
St Issey itself is perfectly located for a holiday break, allowing you the opportunity to get away from it all while also remaining close to the delights (particularly culinary delights) of nearby Padstow. The hamlet has its own church, pub and village shop with gorgeous sandy beaches only five miles away, where you can indulge in the three “S’s” that the area has become famous for (sunbathing, swimming and surfing). The local area is also popular with walkers – there are some incredible coastal path walks offering a heady combination of Atlantic views, invigorating sea air and wonderful countryside. Padstow is certainly worth a visit; with the figure of culinary giant Rick Stein looming large over the town, it’s a must for foodies but also a great place to shop and people watch. Other attractions include the ferry across the Camel estuary to Rock, or the Eden Project (just 20 miles away) – if you can tear yourself away from this lovely part of the country.

,The cottage was perfect in every way, the cleanliness, decor, location etc. I loved that the owner had left a lovely welcome of a cream tea and some wine for us. Another nice touch was the small selection of DVD's, books and board games for those lazy days or early nights. A great location for visiting the sites of Cornwall. Selecting and booking the cottage through the Sykes website was so straight forward, a hassle free holiday.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
