Home description
Stone's Throw is located just 5 mins walk from Constantine Bay and is also within 10 mins walk Treyarnon Bay and Booby's Bay. The area is quiet and peaceful but only 15 mins drive from Padstow and 45 mins drive from Newquay. Within the village are an excellent general stores and surf shop where Des will kit you out for all your needs. The Trevose Golf Club and Treglos Hotel welcome non-residents for that special treat or night out. Near-by St Merryn (10 mins drive) has pubs and take-aways.
There is walking along the coastal path, cycling along the Camel Trail and horse riding - all within a 15 min drive. Numerous gardens are accessible within an hour's drive or less,including Llanhydrock House and the Eden Project. There are lots of houses to visit owned privately or by the National Trust, such as Prideaux Place in Padstow. The area is very popular with surfers and has many beaches of different character to visit. Tintagel ("home" of King Arthur), Boscastle and Port Issac are also areas of beauty and character well worth a visit.

Padstow / Constantine Bay area
Seven Bays for Seven Days is the description of the immediate area reflecting the seven different beaches within the parish. Swimming, surfing, walking, cycling, golf, horse-riding and tennis are the key sporting attractions of the area.
Alongside these sit the famous town of Padstow, home of Rick Stein's Restaurant and Cafe. Nearby Watergate Bay also has Fifteen Restaurant founded more recently by Jamie Oliver. The May festival in Padstow is a popular draw to the local area.

Further details indoors: Bedroom 1 has a sea view (depending on the season and how high the tamarisk hedge grows!). There is also a wash basin and shaver point together with a wardrobe and bedside tables. Bedroom 2 faces the rear of the property and looks onto a hedge bordering set-aside land. It has a full sized single bed and child-sized bunks. Although the property can sleep 5, it is more comfortable with 4.
The bathroom has a bath and shower over, with wash basin and toilet. A heated towel rail keeps towels warm and dry.
The utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board.
The main living area is a through room with kitchen area, dining area and seating area.
Further details outdoors: The apartment comes with parking space for one car. The private garden is secure from the road and provided with benches. There are taps to wash out wetsuits and washing lines at the rear.
