North Cornwall is an area of natural beauty with its many sandy beaches with coves, rock-pools, rugged coastline and crashing waves. Cornwall has a milder climate with warmer nightime temperatures than the rest of the country. Sea temperatures can be mild up to October and sunshine is strong.
In High season it is bustling with many holiday makers enjoying an outdoors holiday when most beaches are life-guarded. In Mid to Low season a day can contain showers followed by strong sunshine. Rain will often fall overnight but then clear up by mid-morning. A wet day is often followed by a sunny evening. This part of Cornwall has numerous tourist attractions for all ages.

A short walking distance further provides more views and is access to a long, sheltered sandy beach in a stunning setting where you can watch boats sail (or speed!)by, along the River Camel from and to Padstow harbour. The other side of Padstow is the Camel Trail (bike hire here) leading all the way to Bodmin, popular with cyclists.
