Home description
Creekside Cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and cosy with attractive decor and furnishings. The ground floor bedroom has a substantial double bunk that can sleep adults if needed and the down stairs shower room is directly accessible from this bedroom, so makes it suitable for older guests who may not be able to manage the spiral stair case. The main open plan living area is well equipped with a flat screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen area has modern work surfaces and appliances with built in washing machine. The main bedroom upstairs benefits from a 5' King Size bed and is very spacious. There is also a bathroom upstairs. Maximum advantage is taken of the proximity of the river with a first floor balcony (from the main bedroom) and a large deck at the back both overlooking the tidal creek and providing a delightful vantage for watching the wildlife or breakfasting in the morning sunshine.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall has so many faces, fabulous scenery, beautiful beaches, great restaurants. Talk to most english people and they fondly remeber chilhood holidays in sunny Cornwall.
Little fishing villages that date back hundreds of years, lots of folklore and old stories of wreckers and legends of old. These days many modern art galleries and attractions are ready for those lazy days when you may have had enough of sitting on a beach.
Cornwall has played a special part in many a movie and tvseries with production crews immortalising many a Cornish location for the world to see.
Padstow / Little Petherick area
Little Petherick is a small hamlet of Cornish stone houses that exudes peace and tranquillity. Footpaths lead in all directions - across the fields, over to the next village, down the creek to the river and along the water's edge to Padstow. One famous walk "The Saints Way" runs directly outside the cottage, linking north and south coast. Wildlife, waterfowl and the sights and sounds of the country are everywhere. And yet, just 10 minutes by car, and you are in Padstow with its winding streets, quaint fishing harbour, excellent pubs and top quality restaurants. Including Rick Stein and Ripley’s. There are many beaches including hawkers cove, Rock and the safe family beach at Daymer Bay while just around the corner toward Pentire Head is the surfing paradise at Polzeath. Lots to do and see and when the beach no longer calls there's a golf links nearby, several stately homes and gardens to visit and the Camel Trail to walk or cycle. The fabulous Eden Project is just 15 miles away.
