Trevose View is a detached, privately owned self-catering holiday home, situated in the holiday village at St Merryn, near Padstow. The lodge is in a quiet cul-de-sac and enjoys open views all-round and views of the headland and horizon at Trevose Head from the kitchen and dining room. The holiday village is a quiet village with a small shop, tennis courts and small play area and a large open space grassed area. There is the newly opened "Glass Room" on site for eating out and also offers free wifi (from September 2015) , plus a small supermarket and many other options in the village of St Merryn - 1 mile away or Padstow - 3 miles.

The lodge offers generous open-plan lounge / dining room and kitchen areas - ideal for holiday living. Three bedrooms - the master with an en-suite and two further room - another small double and one twin plus a family bathroom. The kitchen is exceptionally well kitted out and includes a washer / dryer, fridge and freezer and all the everyday kitchen equipment you would need (we don't do basic - 6 of everything!). It is furnished and fitted out as our own personal holiday home rather than a "holiday let".

Everything is maintained to the highest possible standard and outside there is an enclosed and secure garden, with garden furniture and bbq, and also a double driveway.

We are in an ideal place to explore all that Cornwall offers - close by there are wonderful beaches, Padstow, the Camel Trail and much more - if you want to go further access back onto the A30 or A39 is quick and easy which makes days out to the South coast or further west completely possible.

The Cornwall region

St Merryn Park is conveniently located on the outskirts of the village of St Merryn and is within easy reach of the main A30 and A39 routes, making all of Cornwall easily accessible during your stay. Padstow, a very popular holiday destination, is approximately 3 miles away.

The Park is a quiet holiday location with a small play area, tennis courts, a shop for essentials and a restaurant. Our home is in a quiet cul-de-sac and is a safe place for children of all ages.

There are so many places to visit - if you want peace and relaxation or the more exciting activity holiday - the choice is yours and on your doorstep. Beautiful beaches and coastal walks - relax and soak it all in or get into the surf (many surf schools available for novices) and have an exhilarating holiday. In addition there are many attractions nearby for all ages.

Padstow

Padstow is a working harbour that also has daily speed boat trips and fishing trips with a regular ferry service across the Camel estuary to Rock.

Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant has established a national reputation for imaginative cooking using the freshest fish available, but there are also many other restaurants and bistros for a wonderful choice for eating out. Other attractions in Padstow include the National Lobster Hatchery, Prideaux Place - an Elizabethan House filled with royal treasures and England's oldest cast iron cannon.

The Camel Trail on the edge of the Camel Estuary is a premier cycling route. Cycles can be hired from Padstow and Wadebridge cycle hire.

The nearest town is Wadebridge - now recognised as the "best place to live in Cornwall" - and offers great shops and cafes to browse or visit the city of Truro - a beautiful cathedral city with Hall for Cornwall and the many other attractions on offer in the holiday season.

The busier resorts of Newquay and Perranporth are close by with all they offer. Surfing, cycling, walking and golf are all things to be found locally as well as Crealy Adventure Park and Old Macdonald's Farm which are even closer for the younger children. Anywhere in Cornwall is close enough for a day trip including Land's End, The Eden Project, The Minack Theatre, - access back onto the A39 and A30 makes travelling to any Cornish destination an easy trip.

"Excellent holiday home!"

This was our first visit to Cornwall with our 4 year old and 4 month old baby. The location of the home is absolutely perfect, being a short drive from beautiful beaches, Padstow and the aquarium etc in Newquay. The bungalow is amazingly well equipped, there was absolutely everything there we could possibly need. It was also very spacious and exceptionally clean. It is in a quiet cul de sac and the garden is peaceful and sunny. There is a shop on site which is useful and a restaurant where unfortunately the food is very poor and the wine even poorer! Lots of leaflets and info was provided in the bungalow which was helpful, as was the wash/dryer. We were lucky enough to stay during the July heat wave and we felt like we were in the Med it was that hot and beautiful there. Thanks for a fabulous holiday!

"Home from home, a fantastic base in a lovely location"

Trevose view is a lovely, clean and light accomodation set in a quiet cul de sac on the St Merryn Holiday park. The lodge has a very homley feel and is really well kitted out with everything you need. The Londis shop on site is particularly helpful and we also enjoy using the tennis courts. Our kids are young (7+9) and they enjoyed having the freedom to cycle and scoot around the cul de sac which feels safe being set off the road. The area is just superb with amazing beaches, lovely costal path walks and Padstow only a short drive away. We enjoyed the Eden project which was a super day out for our age kids and only 30mins away. We will definatey be returning to Trevose view.

"Comfortable and well supplied with all the amenities you need!"

This is the most perfect holiday home that my family and I have ever stayed in! It's spacious enough so that even on wet days it doesn't feel crowded, is well stocked with dvds, toys, games, beach equipment etc, has a very well supplied kitchen and great heating! As far as travelling with kids is concerned it has the essentials - tv, washing machine and tumble dryer! Very friendly neighbours and the park has a great little shop as well as take away, bar, restaurant and small play area. Highly recommended for itself and location as you can't beat the local beaches especially if you love surfing, body boarding, fishing or rock pooling.

Thank you - this is exactly the experience we want all our guests to have!
