Barn | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 2
Barn TreAnna is a stunning original 200year old converted barn. It is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, within walking
distance of glorious cliff walks & the local beaches of Golden Burn (walking across local farmers fields, and a little stream running onto the beach). The larger beach of Porthcothan adjoins Golden Burn, when the tide is out. The beaches on this North coast are
unspoilt, with pale yellow sand, sand dunes to the rear of the beach, and small exposed rock pools at the bottom, where the cliffs meet the beach. The beaches are great here for surfing & body surfing , and they are equally as popular and fun, with younger children. Lifeguards monitor the beaches here daily.
The local village, St. Merryn, is known as 7 bays for 7 days. Every beach here is unique in its own special way. St. Merryn also offers several restaurants, a post office, deli, food shop, village pub & surf shop. Further down the road, opposite St Merryn's church is Rick Stein's first pub venture "The Cornish Arms", serving traditional local Cornish food. Locally, golf is offered and horse riding.
Padstow historic harbour is 4 miles away. With its quaint windy narrow streets and quaint cottages, it offers all the charms of a picture
postcard. Fishing and boat trips are offered here, & a traditional ferry goes across to Rock, the millionaires paradise, with sand white beaches. Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant is central to Padstow, offering first class food.
The Eden Project is a short drive away, as is the pretty location of St. Ives.

"A wholly good property which could be great with some tweaks"
We were delighted to book Barn TreAnna for a week at the start of September after finding it on trip advisor at a terrific price. The location is fantastic, within easy reach of Padstein and Newquay (… More

"Very average stay at Barn TreAnna"
Just completed our stay in Barn TreAnna. Terential rain on the day of arrival and we were kept waiting in the car by the owner until the cottage was cleaned. Despite having arrived at the agreed time… More

"Perfect Place to stay"
Barn Treanna. Is a lovely old barn in lovely countryside location. Very well equiped. Cozy Living area. and very comfortable. With lovely views accross the fields, and a few minutes from the splendid beach of Porthcothan. The owner made sure we had everything we needed. We particularly liked the privacy and the friendlyness of the local people, and the beautiful friendly horses accross the lane. We would definately go back. Thanks Anastasia for making our holiday so perfect.

"Delightful Quirky property in tranquil rural location surrounded by horses"
We arrived with our daughter late afternoon and found the key easily, which had been left by Anastasia, as we wasn't sure of traffic conditions. The barn we found to be charming, homely and very cosy. It is located not far from the beach,
and we walked there daily, collecting our newspaper, from the local shop. A car is needed, if you wish to travel further afield, but it is a walkers paradise. We were fortunate in that the weather was kind to us, but there was a good range of
leaflets, showing local attractions, should the weather fail. Anastasia came round to make sure we were comfortable & settled in, on the 2nd day after arrival. She bought round a bottle of dry white wine, which went down very well, with the barbecue we were cooking that evening. My wife & I would highly recommend this accommodation.
