Little House has everything you need to have a great holiday. There is a small garden to the front with a bench for catching the early morning sun. You enter the front door into the kichen diner which has beamed ceilings and slate floors plus all mod cons such as fridge/freezer, microwave, gas cooker, dishwasher etc. There is an old Rayburn but this is just for ornamental purposes. The dining area has a large table and seating for 4. There is also a welsh dresser and wine/vegetable rack.
The comfortable lounge has a wood burning stove as well as a large flat screen tv, dvd player and stereo/radio system. Here you will find two comfortable leather sofas and an additional tub chair seating 6. The lounge leads onto the sun room which has an additional sofa and tub chair for you to relax in.
Upstairs there is one bedroom with a super king size bed, dressing table, wardrobe and a feature stone wall. The second bedroom has 2 single beds plus a very large wardrobe with drawers. Both bedrooms have exposed cross breams and low window sills.
There is also a large bathroom with a stand alone thermostatic shower, full bath, toilet and wash basin.

Although the beams create plenty of character if you are 6ft and above you would need to be careful so you dont bump your head! The rooms upstairs only have cross beams so there is plenty of headroom.

The sunroom leads onto an enclosed private garden with open view to the sea in the distance. Just outside the back door is a BBQ area which is a real suntrap plus there is a gazebo with table and chairs for outdoor dining. You will the washing machine and dryer located in the garage.
Because the garden is raised without a fence it may not be suitable for very small children.
Parking is on the road outside the house which is lit at night.
Deposit of 25% to be paid at the time of booking with balance to be paid a month before arrival. £150 security deposit will need to be paid with the balance and this will be returned to you after your stay minus any breakages and electricity charges.
Gas for hot water, cooking and heating is included but electricity will need to be paid for. A meter reading will be taken on arrival and departure and the cost taken out of the security deposit.
The West Country region
The rugged north coastline provides spectacular views and walks and has 7 beautiful beaches within a 3 mile radius of the house. The area is perfect for families or couples with plenty to do apart from walking, cycling, horse riding, and golf which are all close by.
The Habour town of Padstow is 3 miles away where you can visit the Lobster Hatchery, hire a cycle and ride on the Camel Trail, take a speedboat ride or fishing trip or a ferry across to Rock.
Other attractions within a short distance include the Eden Project, A Flowrider (artifical wave machine) and Crealey Adventure Park whilst further afield you have the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, The Tate Modern Gallery in St Ives, St. Michaels Mount or the stunning outdoor Minnack amphitheatre set into the cliffs at Porthcurno.
St Merryn is a lively village with all amenities within walking distance of the house including restaurants, pubs, fish & chip shop, grocery store, bakers, post office, chinese take-away, surf shop including clothing and equipment rentals and a garage.
Restaurants in the village include Rafferty's winebar and restaurant, Waves and The Olive Tree as well as the Cornish Arms which is run by Rick Stein.
Padstow which has numerous great restaurants and pubs including the famous Seafood Restaurant is only a 5min drive away while Watergate Bay with Jamie Oliver's Fifteen and the very family friendly Beach Hut is a mere 10 min drive.
