SANDBANKS [formerly Bayside] REFURBISHED IN 2014 with new kitchen, bathrooms etc. The ground floor apartment consists of a spacious lounge/dining room & integrated Kitchen with sliding doors to the large patio and gardens with stunning views over the estuary. A bright room with ample settees and dining area as well as a new modern kitchen. Large TV. DVD and Hi Fi. The fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, integrated into the lounge diner, with electric cooker & hob, large 'american' fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster. The washing machine & tumble drier are in a small utility room. There are four bedrooms - the master bedroom has a double bed with new en-suite shower, toilet & basin, with lovely views over the estuary. The second bedroom has 3' bunks, with patio doors leading to the patio & gardens. The third bedroom has twin 3' single beds and estuary views. The fourth bedroom has a 5' double bed with views over the rear garden and en-suite with shower, toilet & basin. There is a new separate 'family' bathroom with bath, basin & toilet.
The property is double glazed with gas central heating, and all rooms are larger than average. Bed linen, gas & electricity, patio furniture and a gas BBQ. are all provided within the tariff. WIFI is provided

Watersports of every kind are to be found, including surfing, sailing, windsurfing and water skiing - all with expert tuition. Fishing boats, speedboats and pleasure boats as well as sea safari's leave the quay daily offering a variety of trips. Two excellent golf courses hug the coastline with facilities for both the novice and the experienced.
The nine glorious beaches, magnificent coastal and estuary scenery, quiet country lanes, walking or cycling on the Camel Trail to Wadebridge or inland to Bodmin, ensure that Padstow 'TRULY HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE'

"a very comfortable, spacious house"
Our extended family with two young children stayed here for a week during June. The house is very well maintained, clean, and spacious with a lovely deck and garden. The owners live upstairs and were very helpful and friendly and available for any questions. The living room was comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped and the 4 bedrooms nicely furnished. The only minor problem was the soundproofing between the upstairs and downstairs levels--sometimes one could hear the owners walking upstairs--but they were generally very quiet so it was not an issue. The WI-fi worked best in the bedrooms. The house is very well located and it is an easy walk to the harbor, town, and supermarket. I would definitely recommend this house for a family vacation

"Fabulous family holiday at Bayside"
My parents treated our family (and mother in law!) to a week at Bayside at Easter. My Dad is disabled, so it was a great choice for us with all accommodation on one level. The rooms were spacious and comfortably furnished and, despite the bracing Cornish weather, the house was very warm - essential for the adults! Eric and Geraldine were very helpful in giving us guidance and tips for our stay - and the house was one of the cleanest properties we've ever stayed in. Everyone loved the views and the boys really enjoyed playing football in the garden. Great to be able to walk into Padstow and avoid the inevitable parking fiasco, too! Very good value and thoroughly recommended - thank you!

"Beautiful spacious warm cosy house in the prefect location"
Myself my partner and our three children aged 9,4 and 2 stayed in bay view for a week we were lucky that we had nice dry weather for October as we were perfectly situated for the camel trail and padstow harbour we only used the car once in the whole stay!! With the fantasic views large garden easy walk down to padstow and camel trail what more do you need( hill from house and back up from trail may cause some people problems) but we found it easy even with pushchair. As for the house it's warm and clean lovely kitchen with breakfast bar brilliant when you have little eaters! So much space great having three bathrooms when you have larger family no fights over who's going first... We will defenitly be going back fantastic home from home

"A much more spacious property than you would expect"
Although I knew it was a four bedroom preoperty, I thought that as a downstairs residence room would be quite cramped. However, this was not the case. The lounge area was very open and roomy. Each bedroom had enough room - although fourth bedroom (bunk beds) is only really suitable for children. The views from the lounge (and three bedrooms) across the Camel Estuary is stunning - almost worth the visit in itself. The decor inside is not modern, but the property is clean and has everything that most people would need - it was a lovely touch to have extra equipment available in the garage such as beach toys, etc. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would strongly recommend it.

We have just had our 5th holiday at this property & it is like a home-from-home. We always receive a warm welcome from Eric & Geraldine & we hate to leave.
We have found it very easy to book the apartment & we have been provided with details &maps to guide us there.
The property is always exceptionally clean & tidy and on our arrival we find flowers, wine,
tea, coffee & milk which are very welcome after a long journey.
If we have any queries they are always dealt with very promptly, even to replacing a gas cylinder for the barbeque day or night.
It is in a wonderful situation for watching the tide changes & boating activities and is only about a 15 min walk into Padstow - a little longer coming back because of a steep hill.
We really couldn't find a better or more hospitable place to stay in Padstow.

"Wonderfully spacious accommodation close to the heart of Padstow"
We stayed at Bayside for the first time this Easter and loved it (family group of 6 adults and a baby) The accommodation is incredibly spacious and has a very well equipped kitchen. The lounge/diner (huge!) has the most amazing view over the estuary - great to wake up to! My one tiny niggle is that there was nowhere to hang towels in the rooms/family bathroom. (one small towel stand that was better for hand towels!)
The location of the house is brilliant - Padstow harbour is only a ten minute walk away and the Camel Trail is even closer. There's a steep hill to climb on the way home, but if you enjoy your food and drink like we did, you'll be glad of it to burn a few calories off!!! There is a Tesco store about ten minutes walk away (if my memory's correct!)
Plenty of parking at the property. The owners are very welcoming and helpful.

"Excellent location, extremely comfortable"
This is the third time we have stayed in this property. It is very comfortable and spacious, easily accommodating an 83 year-old grandmother, parents and three sons (21, 19 and 16.)
A particular delight of the property is the view it offers over the Camel estuary from the full-length picture windows in the living room: the view, on drawing back the curtains each morning, is always breath-taking and constantly changing. The property is a ten-minute walk from the harbour, five minutes from the Camel Trail, and has the benefit of ample parking.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
