Set outside the picturesque fishing village of Padstow, Trevone has it all, a stunning safe beach (5min walk) a family friendly pub with weekly bbq's & fetes. A surf shop catering for all your beach activities; including a cafe/diner overlooking the bay. There is plenty of outdoor space with full sun from morning till night, in a private sheltered sunbathing or sitting out on the deck.

An Ideal family friendly property with lots of local facilities and things to do including surfing, kayaking, swimming in the natural pool, rock pooling, food & drink, shopping, golfing, Eden project & camel trail to name a few!

The West Country / Cornwall region

The fishing port of Padstow is less than two miles away and a similar distance away is the Trevose Golf and Country Club. The North Cornwall coast is a Designated Area of Outstanding Beauty ,The coastal path links all the bays with superb coastal scenery, dramatic cliffs, quiet coves and stretches of sandy beach. The beach has very high standards of cleanliness.

The Camel Trail is close by - a great cycle ride for all ages and abilities and a wonderful day out. The Padstow to Wadebridge section, with a stop for lunch is just right if you have children with you. Bicycles can be hired from Bridge Bike Hire.

For a wet day or any day when you do not necessarily want to be on the beach Creally Adventure Park is a 15 minute drive away and perfect for children of all ages. Further afield but most certainly worth a trip is the famous Eden Project.

The Padstow / Trevone area

This beautiful sandy beach has lifeguard cover from May-September, with a beach café and surf shop. You can enjoy a coastal walk around the famous ’round hole’ on the cliff top or just enjoy looking at the dramatic cliff tops.

There is a local shop along the main road on the bend where you can buy a few essentials. There is also a post box near the store. The main supermarket can be found at the top of Padstow, which is a short drive away. Padstow has banks, a post office and lots of restaurants and cafes.

“Holiday June 2012” A lovely place to stay with a delightful garden. Fully equipped and convienently situated for the beach with the coastal path walks nearby. Sue the owner, gave us a warm friendly greeting and was very helpful with regard to information about the local area. The only slightly negative comment the property is advertised as having two bathrooms one ensuite which isn't the case as the ensuite consists of a toilet and small hand basin. All in all a lovely weeks holiday. Despite the weather!

“Superb Location Comfortable cottage” We stayed at Treloar for 4 nights in May 2012.The cottage is conveniently located,very easy to find and a short drive away from Newquay,St Ives, the Eden Project and other attractions. The cottage has spacious rooms and is very comfortably furnished .The kitchen is well equipped to a good standard for a family holiday.Trevone beach is only a short walk from the house and we saw some spectacular sunsets. The owner is very friendly and had left some very useful information at the house about local walks ,places to eat etc.
