"Great house for families and beach"
3 families , 4 young teenagers and 6 adults stayed at Sintra for a week. We thought the house was great for an active week away, crucially there is space round the back for bicycles and kit like surf boards as well as a back door with boot room leading to a utility room for coats etc and a wet room to shower off , worked really well. Plenty of space generally, could do with a second DVD player downstairs but kitchen was well equipped and you are a 5 minute walk from the beach and less to a well stocked farm shop, not using cars for a couple of days was appreciated by the drivers.

"Great stay, great location, great house"
Sintra is a fantastic family house. We stayed with 6 adults and 4 children and there was more than enough room for all. The walk in wet room was fantastic for coming straight off the beach. The location is wonderful too, a 10 minute walk down the hill to one of the best family beaches in North Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again.

"Wonderful well equipped luxury home"
A beautiful holiday home finished to very standards. Plenty of space for 10 people and properly equipped - at least 10 of everything that was needed.
Beds and pillows are comfortable with good quality bed linen. 4 bathrooms plus a downstairs cloakroom - top of the range showers and constant hot water.
There are 2 big flat screen home cinema systems with all the channels a real bonus if you have teenagers. Also wi fi which meant those who needed could check on work. My elderly father in law also loved being able to watch the Test match live on Sky as he doesn't have it at home.
There was a good range of books and board games to suit all ages.
The house is private but not isolated - the lovely beach at Trevonne is a couple of minutes walk away and there is a great farm shop across the road.
I can honestly say that there wasn't one thing I needed or thought of or looked for in a drawer that wasn't there. I can thoroughly recommend this lovely house.

We love Trevone and Sintra is the perfect place to stay there. The property is immaculate and spacious with modern design. Fabulous sunset views from the upstairs balcony. Just 10 minutes walk from the beach and across the road from the Farm Shop. The downstairs wet room made hosing down two very sandy kids much easier at the end of the day! We loved it!!

"Outstanding property, beautiful location, all you could want for a family holiday in Cornwall."
Sintra is absolutely perfect for anyone planning a family or large group holiday to Cornwall. The property itself is amazing. Thoughtfully planned with lots of living space both upstairs & downstairs, the house "flows" brilliantly. Our group comprised 3 families, with 6 kids aged 7-11. Never once did we feel cramped or "on top of each other". Even when the adults were split between the kitchen and living area, you could still have a conversation - the group was never "separated" as such, and there was ample space for everyone to relax comfortably. We created a kids "play room" (X-Box etc)in the upstairs room with the TV and that worked perfectly during the evenings after meal times.
Trevone is also a lovely location. The village itself is very tranquil with amazing views across the bay. Everyone is very friendly, and whilst the local pub (Well Parc) is a little tired, it is ideal for a few drinks in the beer garden enjoying the sunshine while the kids burn off some energy. The Cornish Arms (about 3 mins drive away) is much smarter with lovely food for all the family - thoroughly recommended.
We were all very sad to be leaving at the end of our week and fully intend to return. Everything you could want as a base for a family holiday in Cornwall.

"Sintra, Xmas & winter floods"
Well what a xmas in Trevone- storms, flooding in Cornwall. A recipe to spoil what should have been a great week away as 3 families came together for a well earned xmas break.
However we had fortunately booked Sintra for our stay.
The house is of a very high quailty. Great underfloor , warm heating, throughout. Didnt need the woodburner.
Loads of showers and hot water. Separate boys TV room.
Excellent kitchen- stocked with all the appliances, utensils and crockery you could ever need for 10 people.
The boys loved the large shower in the wet room and were desperate to get in there first after our winter jaunts around the windy coastal path, kite flying & digging on the lovely beach at Trevone.
The house is like new and finished to a high standard. Im a building services consultant and I couldnt really fault it. It was comfortable for 10 people easily and with wi-fi and full sky TV on 2 tellys there was something for everone on the stormy nights.
Garden is big enough for kids when its dry and only a 10min walk to the beach, which you can see from many of the windows.
All in all a fantastic Xmas holiday. Bad weather was cancelled out by having a lovely base with everything.

"Beautiful holiday home with lovely views of Trevone Bay"
Sintra is a beautiful holiday home with lovely views of Trevone Bay. It is a very spacious house with a lovely garden which our two young boys really enjoyed. It was exceptionally clean and was really well equipped. It is only a couple of miles from Padstow which is great. We were lucky with the weather so were on Trevone Beach most days which is just down the road from Sintra. It's a great beach with good facilities. We will definitely return to stay at Sintra when we next go to Cornwall, it is our favourite holiday house we have stayed in.

"Top Quality Holiday House"
Sintra is a large, comfortable, clean holiday house and a pleasure to stay in - and we are very fussy. We love Trevone for the child friendly beach, rock pooling, cliff walks and body boarding, and apart from going to Tintagel didn't feel the urge to stray out of Trevone. We had a Tesco delivery at the start of the holiday, so didn't need to go to a supermarket the whole time.
We did the cliff walk to Padstow one day - beautiful walk, but in the peak season Padstow is heaving with people and best avoided. The camel estuary at Padstow is worth seeing.
The weather for us was reasonable, but if it is bad it wouldn't be any hardship spending extra time at Sintra.
